I've been running rc1 10.1.3 and have had zero issues. Bad download maybe?

tried installing 10.1.3 RC1 and run into the following issues when installing gapps. AOSP keyboard fails to load and keeps giving a error message. also the play store does not work. I thought i read about this somewhere but can not find any posts about it. Any help would be appreciated

Just now noticed a RC2 going to try that now

Are you using the 8/12 gapps. Dont use the 8/13 gapps, they are for 4.3

OK. On Wednesday I was using my phone as a gps and it just cut off and went into a reboot. All I can figure is it was overheating. Never use tethering with gps though here

Anyone else lose WIFI after update to 10.1.3 RC2 ? Not sure if bad flash or something I did. I'm reverting back to 10.1.3 RC1 to see if that fixes it.

I did have a freeze on the 9/4 build earlier. Other than that, no issues

Flashed to 10.1.3 rc2 earlier and didn't lose wifi. Seems just like the last build.

why not use 8/13 gaps? I installed 8/12 gaps and play store wouldn't connect to the play store. right now I am running cm10. sept2 build on stock slot with the Jenkins hybrid4.3 kernel and 8/13 gaps and I have not had one reboot or freeze since it's been on there. I'm very impressed with all the work these guys do. And even happier that my Verizon stock is gone that freed a lot of room.

8/13 is ok for 10.2; The 8/12 is for 10.1.

Any idea if the new nightlies will flash via SafeStrap v3.53? I want to make sure I can flash over the stock ROM slot. No need for stock in my case. I'm using Boot Menu Manager for that reason right now, but want to get with the times since BMM isn't supported anymore. Sent from my DROID RAZR/JB CM 10.2 via Tapatalk II

Yes and yes. A cm 10.3 nightly will flash to the stock slot, I've done it. Not sure if 10.2 still requires slot one or not. Just be aware that the only way to get back to the stock firmware is with Matt's utility. Restoring a backup of the stock firmware will NOT work. It will soft brick your stock slot. Yeah. 10.1.3 and 10.2 (too early, need coffee for brain to kick in.) 10.2 nightly from 9/4 was what I loaded into my stock slot.

The su app should be in your app drawer.  It comes with CM or any other rooted rom.

you know your right I didn't think of that! but I have looked and looked and it's not installed! I do have root access and but I don't have the app I clean forgot that fact. I didn't delete it all I did was backup stock and format and install cm10 and then restored my apps all has been running fine but su app is not in my drawer! I checked the playstore and I can install it but it's not on my phone would it hurt to install it again? I think what has happened is when I deleted stock it kept the root partition but somehow deleted the app I have no clue!

In cm build it's in system settings-superuser.

I just looking for some clarification.

10.2 is a later build then  10.1 so why is there a nightly 10.1  build out after a 10.2 build?

I might be confused on how the build numbers work. If so can someone explain the difference?
