So just use the 3rd party app and stop ragging about MMS. I've never seen a bigger bunch of whiners than in this topic. You know these builds are automated, right? It's no wonder developers eventually just say F it and stop supporting devices they don't even own or use.... Take what they give you and live with the bugs or learn to code and fix it yourself...

I know the developers give it all they've got and I'm not blaming them for anything. Why does this rom have issues with mms, every single nightly, rc, m and stable version always has mms issues. Will mms only work if I have go sms and I do the apn. Even with go sms and apn restore I have issues, this $#!+ sucks big hairy balls. f%$k you motorola and verizon I hope your reading this. beotch!

FWIW, I've had very few problems with MMS. I've never done the APN thing either. One time I had to use go SMS in the early days but not again since. Once in awhile I'll have to wipe caches and fix permissions or dirty flash a new nightly but haven't been without MMS in a long time.

Regarding MMS mine has never wanted to work, I will tell it to send and it'll just say "Sending..." I can turn on my wifi and send a second MMS and all of them there after that always send over the network.  Does anyone know why the rom just quits booting up?  Mine will work awesome for a period of time then it'll just stay on a dark black page.  Sometimes wiping fixes it and other times like this morning I will have to reinstall.  Thanks again to the devs for their hard work, time, and effort they put into all of this.

Btw...I'm just playin' CM is a fine ROM...all nightlies have issues.

I can't wait until the 3g issue is resolved. I have a razr flashed to cricket so it's a big deal for me. I love that cm is still supporting the xt912. Using aokp right now but I think the battery life is better on cm roms. I wish cm would support ribbons... Only thing it is missing that I care about compared to aokp. The 3rd party apps like swapp are nice but ram intensive compared to aokp.

What's going on...

 

• Now I can't Update CM Updates
• Flashed the New Safestrap..
• Everything was working up til Monday
• Can't Update or Create New Slot...
• Done Everything Amaginal to resolve this issue
• Now my options are
• CM Update Sept 1 or Stock...
• Done nothing different since I've been on this CM Post...

Cant even Flash FlyingJelly or Black n White...My process has not changed but sometime has on Downloaded Updates...

If Updates are Automated...without being moderated...than Stock is the answer...I do Hope their is a Verizon candidate moderating these process so to keep everyone on Stock...I Love Custom ROM...

 

But something has changed in the last serveral months...I will leave my comments to myself...but your creating change and Users to seek Stable ROMs but I do prefer Custom with all the Issues...

Yes, that is true...but No Dev's or Admin's responsded  to a Post I made about the Dev's having to change...that 3.11 Safestrap will Not work with prior ROMs when flashing to 3.50

 

The New Safestrap will not work nor will my Nandroids..they are Null n Void or Any new ROMs I want to Flash...Its not allowing me to Flashing New ROMs after I create a New ROM Slot...I am feeling a Huge Disconnect in the Process of being successful for flashing...

 

If this is Not True...The Common Courtesy should be to Disclose Other ROMs will not work on the New Safestrap or I am doing something completely wrong...

 

If 3.11 No longer Works...Please tell us....

 

Automated Updates/Nighties should be disclosed if they Do Not suppport the New Version of Safestrap...I do know that is the issues but NO ones comes to the fore front...Bad PR IMO...

 

That said, what is my resolve if its my Issue...

I'm running the new 3.5 safestrap and have had no issues updating cm (9/1 and 9/2) using it. I have also backed up and restored roms (both cm and blur) and deleted and created slots. With the exception that I had to move my old backups from the root of TWRP to the new 00000000 subdirectory, the only change its that the new version labels your backup with the current date/time only, so I rename the backup so I'll know what Rom out its. Are you sure you have the safestrap for the correct device (spyder?) If so, then I would re-download it again, remove recovery, uninstall and reinstall safestrap.

Hey been on this rom since the august 18 nightly. I just started having this weird issue where I can't place any calls. I can receive but cant place. If I click on any number or recent call or even manually type the number nothing happens. When touching the contact the phone goes black like its trying to go to the call screen but then goes back to the contacts. When manually typing the numbers it does the same thing but goes to the home screen. No force close error either. Please Help!! =( Also rebooted clear both caches and fixed permissions.

Pretty sure I did..

Did everything I was suppose to do...It mentioned that if it didnt Flash being on the current Updates to Flash back to Stock and Flash...

 

Did 2 Redownloads to make sure they were Not Corrupt or Interrupted in the download process...Yaooo Bro what do you mean by the New Subdirectory...

 

New Version Labels are not my issues everything stop work after I took the 9/1 update ...Just trying to figure out what I did wrong...I Havent had any issues until now...My gut is telling me to a Full Boat Cleaning...May have some Misc Crap from Prior Installations Maybe...

 

 

 

Thank God Im not a Heart Surgeon...I could fill a Cemetary Full of bodies these days for whatever I am doing wrong or Thinking I know what the hell I am doing...

Damn Thing...Hey, I found out real quick that If I left this forum... I wouldnt be able to get the Good Stuff to continue on with the Quest of Pain n Suffering with ROMs and everything I Screw up...

 

Its my turn in the Weeds with conflicts...LOL
