I don't wipe cache or fix permissions on a reboot. Only had to do it on the initial switch from 10.1 to 10.2!!!

I have to, or else Bluetooth wont turn on, and sounds would mess up.. at least that is what was gong on with 10.1 I am now trying 10.2 to see if i run into issue's if i do ill have to go back to Eclipse rom

Restoring phone is hellish and so I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. Not sure if I need to do backup up boths sides of phone, and yes, I am a noob:-) So, can u confirm if:
1.When Slot 1 Rom is active, does TiBu backup only that active slot, or entire phone?
2. When Stock is active, does it only backup stock or entire phone?
3.Same question above applies to "nandroid" via Safestrap, which I assume backups up entire phone (Roms and stock), since it's done from recovery?

When you make a slot active, everything you do is on that particular slot.Titanium Backup Pro w/ Safestrap
Decided to run Safestrap with Cm10.2 in Slot 1 and Stock JB
Restoring phone is hellish and so I want to make sure I am doing it correctly. Not sure if I need to do backup up boths sides of phone, and yes, I am a noob:-) So, can u confirm if:

TiBu will backup only the slot you're using it on, not the entire phone.
Even when in recovery, once you make a slot active, the operations as wipe, install, fix permission, backup,restore etc will apply to that slot only.

Thanks so much! So, would I be best served by making a BU of both sides of the phone, in 2 separate folders?

Do you think you will need a heavy duty case when this phone comes with Gorilla Glass and Kevlar backplate?

You can use TiBu to backup your apps in one slot and restore them in another (ie; backup your apps in stock and restore in CM10).
Just don't restore any system data!! Only user apps/data, otherwise you may have problems.

Just to add to the discussion, I'm on 26 with only very minor issues.
Data will occasionally drop out, but it typically returns in a minute or two.

I saw that. Pondering which way to go....
I'm going to try a fresh install of 10.2 I think. Is there anyway to view the changelog if not on the phone? I'm running stock right now until I set up a clean install.

I'm on the 8/24 nightly and have had little to no errors or reboots so far! However, lots of my apps aren't working the way they should (twitter or vine doesn't load pics, YouTube won't load, etc) anyone know why that might be?

I Had the same problems with apps that would hang on loading, clearing their cache seemed to help. The problems seemed to have been resolved in 8/29.

YAY! After a fresh install (delete/recreate slot, wipe data, cache, dalvik & system, then install) everything is working great on the 8/29 10.2 nightly. It seems like the MMS over Wifi hack/patch is working again. All conditions with my tasker profiles were the same as I previously described & my MMS works perfectly! Back to CM as my daily driver

I haven't had a chance to thoroughly test it yet, I've been on Wifi most of the day, and when off it, I've had 4G. I'll have to get back to you on that.

Apologies if this question has been asked before, but have you guys had a problem with Bluetooth and Google Play music? Whenever I get in to my car , turn on Bluetooth and hit the play button on the app. Nothing happens. I reboot and it works fine.

I found that it would play, but for some reason the volume would be at the lowest. Every time I change volume profiles I have to mess with the volumes, not sure if this is the problem you are having...

I am not sure about the exact case. I think for streaming music , it doesn't play . But for music already on my phone , it might be doing what you are saying. Quite annoying. I thought I could use the FastBoot app to fix it. But that doesn't seem to work.
