I don't use my phone for work email, but if I needed to, I probably wouldn't be running custom roms, at least not experimental nightlies.....

I am running custom ROMs. I just can't run anything that is 4.2+. I always run security software.

Also, have people been needing to use the MMS APN fix on this build?

Just a thought...

Maybe a PM to one of the Dev's might help...I do Understand what jonwgee is saying but Emails with Custom or Stock ROM's is Key with Phones especially today, when Phones/PDFs are Our New Source for Instant Communications...

Exchange/POP Servers should always be a Componet that works...It would be like...

"Having your house Wired for Electrical then, finding out you dont have a source to generate Power" or the Inconveinence of a Noisy Generator

I agree but I can also see jonwgee's point. Being salaried I am never "off" work so it makes it easier to be able to have everything at my fingertips. If anyone knows any of the devs well enough would it be something that they would deem important enough to lookin into?

That wouldn't be a nice gesture.
devs are certainly working on developing this and it shall be incorporated soon anyways. So putting up requests to the devs won't do any good.

If its something really important, you can always stick to the stable builds and wait for further development.

This Gesture wasn't a Shot for not Incorporating Exchange Emails to Our Dev's...its for Posters who Customise their Phones to use as their Daily Drives to give Solutions & Feedback using the Exchange Server and Feedback on pushed CM Updates...

So if Stable Builds don't work..Are you saying Stock is Our Fix? Or use 2 Phones one for Emails the other for Builds?

What I meant is that these nightly builds are experimental where code is optimized almost daily. There's always a chance that things might not work correctly so if some feature of your phone is crucial to you esp regarding your work, one should avoid nightly builds.
The stable builds are always there where all the necessary features work.

Also, I've been following CM from a long time, back when CM 6 was out. It might take a little time but everything will be fixed, thats my experience. So just 'wait and you shall have it' . :)

I know and I am in no way blaming the devs. They are already working with a base code that they build on. It wouldn't work in 10.2 either. It makes sense that if a dev doesn't use corporate email then it's not going to be on their radar so to speak.

If you need a specific feature to work then use a more stable version of the ROM. 4.3 is still new and features will be added as the ROM becomes more stable. DO NOT pm the devs and request a feature. It is rude to do so as they do not have to take the time to create these ROMs for us. These ROMs are a privilege. Be patient and the features you want will added in due time.

Anyone know the codecs that are used in this ROM? Seems this ROM will play more avi files then the stock ROM. Very curious. Same player on both ROMS.
