CM10.2 nightly for spyder is up!

 

Kernel build date is 8/14/2013, would be awesome if it fixes the old CM10.1 OMAP problems.

 

I really thought hashcode, dhacker and company had moved on from spyder, This is awesome

the new nightlies are in the cm updater. Settings->About Phone->CM Updates. Make sure update types is set to new versions/nightlies

Installed the 8/14 nightly (dirty flashed, wiped cache/dalvik, and fixed permissions).  Everything seems to run OK outside of these issues:

 

• Can't seem to get data over wireless.  Can't explain it other than data over LTE seems to work fine, I can connect to wireless fine and show a strong signal, but no data can be transferred.
• I use the nova launcher with a persistent google now search bar.  However when I now click on it, I get the more traditional google search (which includes apps, contacts, etc) rather than google now.

Thoughts?

Uninstall that funny google search app in your apps. And re install google now.

 

My folders seem to shrink from 3x3 to 2x3 . (row x column) . I think I just rebooted once and this happened.

Having issues with 10.1 mms refuses to send...just sits there on "Sending" everything else works great.  Bad flash?

 

UPDATE:   I got home and sent a few test mms to myself and they started working...fingers crossed that this will stay working.  Awesome rom.

Update #13 & 14 do have some situations Luke Not loading all my Apps or Deleting from my Screens, Phone lock ups...

Going to create a New Slot and Restore my backup...

#14 loads to 95% but never downloads...

4.3 should be loaded to a fresh install and it can be put on any slot now

Thank you!  This worked perfectly and I can now use my persistent search box again with Nova.  Now if I could just get the play store working this thing would be just about perfect.  Any way to uninstall with TB or something and then manually install the latest apk?

New gaps are up for 4.3.

I was under the impression since it's a new nightly it would just upgrade normally without a complete wipe.  I found two issues when I flashed like I would a nightly -

 

1.  The version of Gapps ROM Manager had be used didn't work and I had nothing but force closures on gapps when I got into the ROM.  I restored my previous backup and flashed this time without GApps and it loaded fine.

2.  On the second time through I didn't have data (wi-fi or lte).  The status bars remained grey and I couldn't get to anything.
