Am I the only one experiencing the sounds all of a sudden not working problem? I mean no sound at all. Nothing from ringtone, notification, or alarms.

Do you have any 3rd party ringtone apps installed? Do you have quiet hours active in sound settings ? Do you have Tasker or anything similar running? Do you have a sound toggle in the quick settings panel?

I don't know whether this is a Google problem or a CM problem, but 2-factor authentication to Google services just doesn't work through the initial guided setup. It almost works; it launches the browser to let you log on and enter the authentication code. However, there's no way to view the code once it's texted to you, so you can't sign on to your Google account. You just have to skip pretty much everything in the initial setup and return to it later, doing everything manually.

 

This ROM also doesn't seem to be able to turn on wifi as part of the initial setup either. Same was true with the Aviator CM10.1 ROM. Reboot to recovery, scrub cache/dalvik and you're good to go.

 

I still like it, though . . . once you're past the initial glitches, it's pretty great.

no i dont have any 3rd party ringtone apps.  i dont have any quiet hours set up at all.  umm i have an app called CLEAN MASTER installed im not sure if that has anything to do with it.  and I DO have the sound toggle in the quick settings panel.

Get rid of Greenify...if you want better Battery Life...use Juice Defender Ultimate... If you want better performance use Cache Cleaner NG...set settings for every 12 hours... If your familiar with SetCPU this will also help with Performance and Lags Its Bubba "Stubborn In Your Bones"

I have had  #30 lock up on me once, not sure what caused it. Haven't seen any random reboots though.

I'm on #30 and haven't been locked up yet. I think greenify truly does work. It worked wonders when I was on stock ROM. I will leave clean master out this time and see if anything goes weird. So far so good still. Everything good and I woke up for work today

Im on 7/31 and everything still works.  Havent had any Wifi or GPS or Bluetooth problems.  I used safestrap on slot 1.  My phone is also XT912.

Try going into Settings > Apps scroll all the way right to "All" apps, then scroll down to Media Storage. Clear cache/data on that and reboot. You'll have to re-assign your ringtones/sounds most likely, but see if they stick after that. I believe this also affects things like music and gallery thumbnails but they'll rebuild themselves after a reboot. Just something else to try.

I'm just a normal phone flasher. Done don't understand this here code speak. On the 7/31 change log, what in the word is the 5f2c658 change to superuser about?

Make sure you choose All your Ringtones from Media Storage for different Emails, SMS etc...
