It worked out of the box for me as I dont remember using GPS on fuzion once I restored it after a fastboot restore. I did notice it was taking awhile to lock so I loaded the GPS Status Toolbox and spun around in my computer chair a little and it finally locked. Perhaps the GPS Status toolbox can help you. I used to here it was always good to load this app regardless, go outside away from trees, power lines, etc, and then do some motions with it. I forgot the motion but it is something like spin your phone around clockwise 10 times, counter clockwise 10 times, then end over end 10 times as this helps make the GPS more precise. TBH, I never could be bothered to try it.
I was able to get the rom, but the gapps he links to will not download correctly. I've tried a few times, even browsing to the file on goo.im, and only get a 6kb file.
For what it is worth, any gapps will do. I am using a combo of B-Boy's inverted apps from his site, and TravP264's Gapps thread in the Samsung Galaxy Nexus Themes section @ Rootzwiki. I have used TravP's gapps for years now and the only apps I run in to problems with on some roms is the Contacts app. Otherwise they work great!
As for CM10.1 in general, everything I need seems to work. I have not had any force closes when making calls, I have working GPS, working Camera, but one odd thing earlier is my rom completely locked up on me.
