Okay, I know I'll sound like a noob for this question..... (which I am of course) But what's a "nandroid"? I just started the whole android flashing, root thing just a couple of days ago, and so far I've come to understand what I'm doing. But I've been using safestrap for the backup, wipes and install of the one rom I've experimented with thus far. Is that another way of saying safestrap? Can I install this using safestrap? Or is nandroid something totally different that I need to download or install to try this rom?

This is what nandroid means. A back up of your stock or rom

I love your ROMs, but every single one of em has exchange broken. All the external exchange apps force close.

you can have both, simple fix. use a file manager and delete the email.apk from system/app directory. then you will need a computer or use your phone if you know how to extract a file from a zip.. easier on computer tho IMO.
download a stock jb ROM from the forum here, open the zip on your computer with 7zip once the file is complete, and locate the system/app folder, and drag the email.apk onto your desktop, plug your phone into USB of computer, place that apk on your sdcard. unplug, then use a file manager to the sdcard, move the file I to the system folder. set permissions to rw-r--r-- and then finish by moving it into system/app. once you do this, open up email and exchange should be working. reboot might be required but the way I explained ya shouldn't need to. :

Maybe I'm dumb...but I just installed this ROM (been with BW ROMs since the beginning, coming from BW-CNA last) and I can't find the ROM settings....... help?
Oh...and my battery is draining fast. 1% every 15 mins.
1.. cna is Aosp, hence the reasons for (ROM settings), this ROM is blur based... so there are no extra ROM settings to customize. I have extra mods that can be flashed to change or add a few things, but that's it.
2.. as far as the battery goes, let it drain till it dies, plug it in to a charger till full, before unplugging run a Battery Calibration app to wipe the battery stats, unplug from charger, and let the phone deplete to nothing again.... u should then have normal battery drain. :

The motorola home launcher isn't working, I go to flash and safe strap 3 is saying failed right after I try to flash....any thoughts?
I made that add on a while ago, best bet if it doesn't flash, use a file manager or 7zip on your PC to extract the files from the zip, and then just manually push them into the system and set the permissions

About exchange mail, you said to delete from system/app email.apk and manually put email.apk from default 98.72.16 system and set permission.
But i cannot find email.apk, or are you referring to MotoEmail.apk ?
I tried putting MotoEmail.apk and set permission into system/app, then restarted the phone, but Email app doesnt show up anywhere?

Email.apk:
Exchange2.apk:
I deleted the Black Widow ones, set permissions on the new ones, then rebooted. It works perfectly.
