Hello, I deleted the old rom and tried to install the new rom (V2)
-was installed (I think)
-buteaza but stops at (security failure test / validation of cryptographic modules failed) why?
what should I do or what I did not do?

and flash the correct kernel (option 4: flashes the 98.72.16 kernel which is needed).

So if your on the leak, you download and extract the tool to the desktop of your PC, make sure to have the BW HDish ROM on your sdcard-ext, reboot your phone and put it into AP Fastboot, plug it into the computer and run the utility (option 4), once the phone reboots, enter safestrap recovery, and wipe and install the ROM. after all this is complete, and your phone reboots, you should boot into BW HDish ROM device setup screen.

so since you already have the ROM flashed, you just need the kernel. so download the tool, put your phone into AP fastboot and then run option 4 of the utility, reboot and it should boot into the ROM. lemme know what you come up with~

OK good if I change the kernel the other rom stops working?

By the way, you mention the boot logo is included in the rom now. Where is it located, and/or how do I activate it? Currently the boot logo is still the Moto 'M'. I poked around inside the archive a little, but only came across the boot animation, which is already working. Perhaps I have understood incorrectly, and the 'Droid Spyder' logo is merely an alternate boot animation.

I wondered the same thing cuz my boot logo didn't change either. I manually flashed it from a download i've had of it since ics cuz I couldn't find it in the zip. Just in case others start to say the same. My stock is ics .211 but used xlight's dual boot to flash jb .16. I haven't fully committed yet because I would like to possibility of fastbooting. Until we get a jb .16 fastboot file

Just switch kernels when you want to switch roms. It's not like the roms stop working forever. Just as long as the wrong kernel is used.

hmm, the boot logo replaces the red M on boot.. it should have changed it to the DROID SPYDER boot logo.. it has for myself and others i have talked to, not sure why yours isnt changing? but you can always do it manually~ just download the boot animation and command prompt tool from my themes and mods, and load it up on your PC.. should be included in the ROM though. ..

Thanks guys, I pulled it out of the BW ICS post, I will include a link in case anyone else needs to take this route. It worked perfectly. Nice to replace the bright red M with this awesome logo.

Loving this ROM....question though any way to implement a custom swype in the keyboard without actually using swype? Like the Cyclone and ROM from Matt? I think a white one would be sweet in this ROM.

hmm not really too sure on what you are asking or referring to.. implement a custom swype.. but not using swype. lol maybe im just too stoned or tired but i dont get it~ but if you have a keyboard you like, your always more than welcome to use a file manager and move the apk into the system/app directory with the following (rw-r--r--) permissions set. reboot for changes.
