yeah ive done some messing around and tested them.. ive found that those work well together~ pretty responsive, fluid, and battery seems to be sipping along! but once the extra modules are back in action.. i would def go with Sio and Pegasusq, but in the meantime yes.. ondemand and noop work well!Noted on gov/sched, those options are available!! Will run with them!!

aight, well what your wanting to do is pretty easy! download a file manager, like Root Explorer... navigate to your system/app directory, delete the RootBrowser.apk, and you can delete Swype.apk if you want but its not really needed as you have to set the keyboard your wanting to use, through system settings, language and input., in which the AOSP version i have themed is set to default., but again, if your wanting to remove it so there are no extra keyboards on the system, other than Swiftkey... have at it~
so, use a file manager, navigate to system/app, delete the 2 apks, reboot for changes to take effect... download and place the apks your wanting to use, in your system/app directory with the following permissions (rw-r--r--) set. and enjoy*
Thanks Andlaw. I used ROM Toolbox to remove the other apps easily enough on my leak version BWHDish, except it closed and I had to reinstall when trying to make it move itself to the system partition. I will look into moving the apk myself, instead of asking it to move itself.
I was thinking more of figuring out what steps to take to modify the rom file before flashing it. Perhaps this is more akin to what you are doing already though, so maybe I should just look in to themeing/modding introductions.
i gotta say though, just be happy i released the ROM for the moment, im putting out firmware for a device i dont even use and havent used since November, nor do i have really any desire to work on this! lol.... i dont really care about the money, but i hvnt got any donations for this $#!+ in months~ so its something i do for free lol,, and in my own time~ so, when i get it done, take what ya get and run with it.... cuz like i said, once i complete this ROM, i am done with the XT912~ so enjoy!
I am extremely happy that you have not given up on the 912's yet. I sent you a few coins to show my appreciation; wish I could afford to send more.
trying!! i know i have had many dedicated users~ the main reason i didnt just pack up shop, and have been working on bringing a satisfying experience to all the OG users wanting some Jellybean action in their lives!~ btw, i took a badass picture earlier lol... once my buddy emails me the pic, i will show you heh lol
I have some battery screenshots, but last time I tried, I had problems with figuring how to post them on this forum. I have seen my battery at 75% or higher after 15 hours, and with more than 50% left after 20-24 hours away from a charger. Black Widow definately helps to make that happen. I will look back into posting images, and select a few to share.
Thank you for all your hard work on these devices. I am a bit techy, and have been using computers for years; the xt912 feels more like a computer than a phone to me. Installing your roms has not only helped me customize and explore my device, it has also helped me start to peek behind the curtain, and catch a glimpse of how it runs. You, and many others on these forums, have truly enriched my experience with my first Android handheld computer.

I managed to get the 1.90 version of matts utility, so it looks like I may be able to get the new version running later today. I dont want to lose my tethering capabilites though, since then any research has to be performed on a 4.3" screen. Funny how the screen feels so big, until you try to do some real work with it.

Something I just noticed the other day, when attempting to set the camera to panorama mode, it would close. There was no force close notification, the camera just exited. Would someone check if this is present in the new release? Does the new release fix the mms force close issue? Any notes on whether rooting sticks around using rootkeeper, or if rerooting with the method for the december leak works?

uhmm.... not sure what version you are on., but if you are on the ROM found in the OP, there shouldnt be any reason Panorama shouldnt be working.... the only thing that doesnt work in the Google camera (not blur camera) is the far left icon (photosphere)
