Damn, i'm now unable to flash the CDMA Kernel on the EU JB Leak, stuck in AP after trying it. And unfortunately the CDMA JB Roms won't boot with the EU JB Kernel

I'll upload an GSM Patch tomorrow, for the Guys that didn't jump on the Leak.
Now i'm off (long day), but nice to see the Widow running stable again

heh yeah, I am going to go back through the android.policy.jar and redo the code, to make the reboot fully functional, instead of just doing a quick hot reboot. once I do that, I believe this build will be in its Final release! but for now, I believe its got a good start~ much better than the first build I released... lol, IMO..

Sent from my XT926M using Tapatalk 2™

Would it be possible to keep both. I kinda like the hot reboot for use after changing something in system/app or build.prop

I could prolly keep both yes, rename the current to hot reboot, and make another for the actual reboot..

put my new ROM on your sdcard. put you phone into AP fast boot, open the utility, run option 4.. enter recovery, wipe what's listed in OP, flash, profit, enjoy the darkness!

Wow, amazing day for me to check back for updates. Looking forward to trying out the new build, though it may have to wait till next week. The updated DRUtility will be much easier to download at work, since I get 4g reception there.

I suppose in the meantime I should work on backing up my data properly. Last time I lost a few things, though I attribute some of it to having files still encrypted with device id as well as a pin. Any recommendations on good posts outlining what I should and should not attempt to backup and then restore? Contacts are fine with the google backup, and I think I will spend a little time backing up archives from Notestacks, CheckbookGenius, KeePassDroid, etc., rather than relying on an app+data backup. I was annoyed at losing my call and message logs last time, though it is not really a critical issue.

Another consideration I had was, I am interested in modifying the included apps before installing. For example, I own a full copy of ROM Toolbox, so I would like to remove Root Browser Lite, and replace it with ROM Toolbox. I would also like to pull Swipe in favor of Swiftkey. I appreciate the work you put into your ROM Andlaw, I just like to make a few tweaks of my own. Would anyone like to recommend some reading, here or elsewhere, for learning how to do this?

aight, well what your wanting to do is pretty easy! download a file manager, like Root Explorer... navigate to your system/app directory, delete the RootBrowser.apk, and you can delete Swype.apk if you want but its not really needed as you have to set the keyboard your wanting to use, through system settings, language and input., in which the AOSP version i have themed is set to default., but again, if your wanting to remove it so there are no extra keyboards on the system, other than Swiftkey... have at it~

so, use a file manager, navigate to system/app, delete the 2 apks, reboot for changes to take effect... download and place the apks your wanting to use, in your system/app directory with the following permissions (rw-r--r--) set. and enjoy*

thanks! yeah i forgot to add BWicons in the build somehow.... did i not include the city state ID? but as far as the extra modules go., i thought i had them set as default, the only reason i can think of for them not loading, would be if your using the dual boot method., the only way for the extra modules to be set, is you have to be running the JB ROM/OTA/Soak on your stock rom slot.. if you are on, (im not so i couldnt really test, i am using hte dual boot method so i can still load ICS roms), the JB soak kernel, i am not sure.... i can take another look at the scripts i have setup though~

As long as you guys keep leaving feedback, and post issues/questions, i can get the final build done quicker~ so again, feel free to leave your feedback! help me, help you!~ B)

I'm running stock, rooted OTA soak, no dual boot, latest Widow on slot1, wiped all, fixed permissions. I also restored DSPManager as well. Only things I saw missing?? Aside from that, just sooo sweet to have her back!! Her venom is highly addictive!! B)

Any thoughts on Acid Audio mod, or circle battery mod?? Did like circle battery mod!! Acid Audio, does it sound all that, or plain unneeded?? I use PowerAmp with DVC enabled. PowerAmp does not recognize Musix FX from DSP Manager on this rom??

alright, well i am putting together another build, added in DSP manager, Area code (city state caller ID), and BWicons. Right now i am modding the power menu, with another Reboot menu... hopefully the end result will be Power off, Reboot, Hot Reboot, Airplane Mode. ..

as far as the AC!D audio mod, you will need to follow the directions given in the thread found on XDA for that mod. and for the circle mods and stock battery Mod... i said this earlier, when i get home i was going to update the other battery Mods...... i can only do 1 thing at a time, and first thing is first! i have to get the ROM done, (framework-res completed with reboot menu), before i can go creating other battery Mods! once the ROM is complete, other Mods will be created! i gotta say though, just be happy i released the ROM for the moment, im putting out firmware for a device i dont even use and havent used since November, nor do i have really any desire to work on this! lol.... i dont really care about the money, but i hvnt got any donations for this $#!+ in months~ so its something i do for free lol,, and in my own time~ so, when i get it done, take what ya get and run with it.... cuz like i said, once i complete this ROM, i am done with the XT912~ so enjoy!   B) :P  ;)

This is running on the .16 kernel now isn't it? I can't remember which runs which sometimes lol. If its on .16 the modules don't work for the kernel so we are all stuck with stock for now.

yeah this is running on the SOAK system version... 98.72.16, i figured it had to do with the kernel is why the modules wouldnt load for soundgirl. I know when i dual boot, i just use Ondemand and Noop... seems to run pretty smooth and fluid with them~
