I've been using different versions of Black Widow for about the last year or so. I don't post on here very often, but I would be happy to test out your updated rom, assuming you still need any testers. If not, I'll just look forward to the new update.

i will post in here when i am ready for testers! right now i have 2 builds to get tested, gonna do another., but today is my day i chose to work on my new build for the HD, just got done manually deodexing the OTA so i have a base of my own! forgot how long it took lol but wasnt bad using both laptops and desktop hah, talk bout multi-tasking...... but i do plan on thursday to work on the 912 builds~ again, i will keep you guys posted, and you guys will just have to wait for the post and be sure to respond promptly! it seems like every build i do i get a "different" problem that arises, PITA its been~

I'm dual booting with SS3.07, ROM Slot 1, and both Chrome and GSearch were FC until I updated (lost theme but working). Loving this ROM just as much as all the other previous versions. Well done!

k so dont be mad, i had a build that was near complete, - the few FC's i was getting from adding in 4.2 apps, but, i have changed the plans and will no longer be releasing that build......... so here is the new news~ i am sure you all have seen by now that there was another system version as the OTA for the XT912 device., so i will be getting a system pull of it, and work on deodexing it for my own custom base to build from~ as i have done in the past to ensure a fully working ROM. It looks like i will have a lil more time within this next week or two from work (taking vacation days before i lose em), so i will have nothing more to do than chill at the beach, and work on this stuff~ so meantime.., the rom i have available now will have to do, but i do hope to get this completed soon~ and after, i more than likely will stop developing for this device as its just been too much trying to work on both my HD and OG builds.. not to mention when the new X phone drops i will prolly end up picking that up, and dropping the HD.... or move onto the note2 (any unlocked device lol). i will keep you guys posted with what and when i get $#!+ done., till then, and as always!.. BW FTW!!!!! !!

This may be a dumb question since I'm not 100% sure how deodexing works, but couldn't you use the new OTA's deodexed version? Or is it the way that you do it specific for your ROM base? General question.

They are doing the splash testing, so wouldn't it be better to wait for the full release? I don't think it last that long and they may actually make it in the first quarter as they claimed.

From software development in general, I can tell you I would much rather build my own base than use someone else's. That way I never have to question the quality or methods used. The only time I ever recycle someone else's code is when it can run as a independent module that I will never modify or when I know the other developers style. There are limitless ways to accomplish the same objective with code, each being done based on how you think. I would imagine this is true for Android ROM devs as well.

alright so here is a test build for the new JB SOAK/OTA BW. althought this is a test.release, it is more than likely going to be the final build (after i fix the power menu mess up.. you will notice what im talking about when you hold the power button.. i guess somewhere along the way of me Modding the framework, some text got changed).
