Can anyone tell me how to remove the "themed" apps so I can update them through the play store? The ROM is GREAT! and I love the blacked theme, but it has some quirks...like I can't see any of my shared calendars in the calendar app, and it won't let me download the Google Calendar app. it says: Error Incompatible with other applications(s) using the same shared user ID. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Just use something like Titanium Backup to uninstall the calender app and then you should be able to download Google Calendar.

This ROM doesn't sync the calendar. The next release will, but no ETA on that.

Has somebody confirmed this works?

If so, did you have to freeze both Calendar and Calendar Storage?

If you uninstall then you shouldn't have to freeze.

well, this is not an update for the ROM.. but since matt asked me to get him the Moto launcher and circles widget working, i figured i would make it a flashable mod available to you as well~ so here it is for those of you who prefer the stock home launcher over Apex and One more clock widget. This is confirmed working by Mattlgroff. .. and can also be found under Themes & Mods in Post #2. ..

Very cool andlaw!! Tho girlfriend and I are "Apex" fanatics, and we both like the "circle" battery mod, especially when you have "date" from power toggles on the left side of notification bar!!

Don't forget to reboot after uninstalling any programs or it won't work.

so I have been working on a $#!+ load of test builds, trying to get the setup wizard on first boot... after about 50 different test builds I have finally gotten Device Setup on first boot every time I flash now, but again, I am having issues getting the sim card to read the network., I am beginning to run out of things to try, so I may end up just creating a backup for people to restore... that will be stock, with reboot menu.. and all will need to complete is add gmail account and download apps, didn't want to go this route but may end up having no other choice! as I have already spent too many damn hours on this, lol, sigh. ..

What I did to get mine to work: I chose a slot I have never used, it was slot 4 for me, did all 4 wipes, 4 times each. Then installed, wiped cache, wiped dalvik. fixed permissions. Booted into the rom, and I got to the welcome screen, but the status bar and the gapps were missing, booted into recovery and fixed permissions again and was golden.

Feedback on the ROM itself is very good, the rom is lasting me from 7am to 10pm at night on a single charge and thats all I need.
I am having the force close on MMS sending not receiving that works fine. Chome was FC so I did the store update and it removed the theme but works like a champ.
The only suggestion I would have for DEV is maybe include the 4.2 camera if possible because I have had super good luck with the shutter speed of that, the stock moto one I have horrible luck with, I know I could add it myself with some effort but I love the black theme and I would want everything to match.

Great ROM I hope this helps somebody.
I normally am a crack flasher (I came from a nexus, can you blame me) But I think this will be my dd for awhile once mms is fixed ill never leave haha

Unfortunately the MMS problem is much deeper issue than wanted so for now you'll have to use a 3rd party program such a GoSMS or handcent.

The ROM is alive, the thread is dead. Dont rush dev, they need to take their time and make a great product plus they do have loves outside of the ROM. Considering the first build is less then a month old give the dev a break. Flash and enjoy.

Im glad this rom has slowed down. I dont have time to flash like it was going out of style. :) All though I love anything Andlaw pumps out since it makes my droid cause blackouts world wide. :)

andlaw, what can I say, resort employee, dependent on bluetooth, (S11 flex HD headset), resort hard on phone, Black Widow laughs at resort!! Aside from calendar sync, and mms workaround, FIRST CLASS ROM!! Smooth and buttery, DARKNESS rules, one android at a tyme!! Average 12 hour shift, 100-120 calls, 200+ txts, PowerAmp spinnin' tunes thru shift, Black Widow and Juice Defender, makin' sure phone outlasts all others!! Truly "all that and a bag of chips"!! WOOHOO!!

Andlaw, did you remove the ICE contacts, or is that gone in JB? I really liked having that at the top of my contacts in case anyone found my phone and wanted to return it. I also kept information in there in case I black out, making it easier for people to figure out what to do.

The stock app still works, just add a slideshow instead of a photo and it will send.

I don't know about you but I HATE and despise slideshows. Lol I like gosms, the quick reply is great!

If you only add a single picture, the message will not appear to be a slideshow. It ends up looking just like a standard 'send picture' message.

As long as you have something that works and you like it, then all is good.
