I have XT1080M Dev, unlocked bootloader. I installed stock recovery to take update. Got error unable to take update. This has happened before with OTA's on this phone. I have had to flash with RSD lite. I used to be able to find the firmware online but it seems it's no longer available. any thoughts? anyone?

If you have a Motorola account which you should having a dev edition phone, or you can sign up for one they are free. Bookmark this link because it is for the dev edition software, That way you will have a way back to the page after you create your account.

Warning to people that DO NOT have a DEV Edition phone. This firmware is for the Developer Edition Phone Only.

Well here is the problem I still have root. I uninstalled Superuser SU pro and it went back to the standard version. But that is not showing up under apps in settings where i can delete it. All root apps are still functioning and rootchecker says I have root. I disabled superuser SU since I couldn't delete it and still, I have root. WTF???

Interesting, I was able to take update by flashing back to obake-maxx_verizon-user 4.4.4 SU6-7 7 release-keysMSM8960PRO_BP_23255.132.81.00R then taking 2 OTA Updates. Re-flashed TWRP recovery but there is something here not allowing the install of superuser SU. If I install SU in Google play there is a binary issue with no resolution. Consequently even though I have a dev phone and I am unlocked, I cannot get root access. Could this be part of the 24.13.3 update?
