hey i installed this for my wife. she really likes everything except the blacked out gmail. is there any way to change this? could i install a different gapps? which one?

Check out post #136, i put a link for regular gmail, just flash it. And tell your wife i am glad she likes my rom

I am glad you like it .

Go into your system folder and copy the media folder from there to /sdcard. Then open up the ringtone maker app i included, hit the menu button, then refresh. Now you should be able to go to your system settings and all the ringtones should be there, and they should stick now

I did not have gesture typing on, so on or off makes no difference. When I try to make changes to the keyboard settings the scrolling is slow as well. Killing applications does not help either.

I don't need any of the features in 2.2 im on 2.1 atm with no issues whatsoever. I use the top bar sliding for brightness, my own ringtones, and ADW EX so I don't need to upgrade right? If it aint broke don't fix it you know what I mean lol. Love the ROM BTW all i changed was the theme to PCB blue.

if you are happy with 2.1, then yeah by all means stay with that! i didnt do any performance tweaks, just some odds and ends stuff, so you are right...if it aint broke, dont fix it .

awesome rom ! ! ! i was wondering if there is a way to customize the screen unlock sound? thanks for the quick updates !

ok, here is what you do: once you have the sound you want, make it an .ogg file if it aint already, then rename it Lock or Unlock, depending on which sound you want it for. Make sure that the first letter is capitalized, it makes a difference. Now copy that file over to /system/media/audio/ui and overwrite the file. When you are done replacing the files, reboot...then enjoy your new custom sounds

Mrlolli, flashed v 2.2 yesterday, very nice and smooth ROM! Love your custumizations! Any idea about the current status phone Bluetooth issues that are common with 4.2 ROMS? It seems to be a problem with CM10.1 AOKP and DH's Killrom.

Having problems getting animation and sound to work. The zip changed the animation, as well. ?? Do I need to flash the zip or just extract and move?

That was actually for my older animation. Did you download both fikes from that link? And leave the zip intact

Im glad you like the rom . As far as full bluetooth compatibility, my guess is we wont get it until either we get the official release or hashcode pulls one of his magic tricks...you can never count him out

No, the link had a zip file and an ogg. I will look at it again.
Checked, that was all there was.

You need to put that ogg file in the system/media also
