I'm currently running Eclipse mod on build 6.12.173 with Android 2.3.6 and I want to go to whatever is the newest version (of android, not eclipse).

I put this on when I got the phone a year ago. Has always done just fine but lately it's stuttering and getting glitchy...

Do not want to brick it so can someone provide some links on a step by step how to? I realize these exist but every one I could find was doing it from stock or some other mod.

It is fully rooted with clockwork mod as the booter. Should I go directly back to stock first and just do OTA(wont work currently)? I'd rather just download something and flash it.

On the Fastboot Flash Mode menu on the phone...it says device is LOCKED - could that have something to do with it?
