Since this is soak test compatible, does that mean Bluetooth works? Or is it still the old kernel?

The test build is soak test compatible, and yes Bluetooth should work.

Has anyone else gotten the Sleep Screen of Death or what ever you call it when the phone just won't wake up and you have to reset it? I have had it happen two to three times on my with the Soak Test version.

Yes actually, this has happened to me through out the Cyclone and Flick builds. It is a rare occurrence when it does happen but has happened to me a few times. Its so rare that I have never felt the need to ask about it. When it does happen to me it is after these steps. But again, I can do these steps a hundred times over and it wont happen.

1. Using the phone very actively.
2. Hit the power button to lock screen.
3. Remebered that I need to do one more thing and hit the power button again right after I just turned it off.
4. Sits at a black screen frozen.
5. Force restart of phone to correct.

That is pretty much how it always happens to me. But I only have to do this once or twice a month. Hope that info helps.

I never have the problem.

For those wondering about me finishing the soak test build its not done because:

Of me building source

Installing Arch Linux

Lots of screwing around

Laziness mostly

I could have had the 3rd update out by now :P

It seems that some Moto Droid Users are seeing this on Hashcode's CM10.1 as well because he tweeted that If you get the sleep of death reboot back into CM 10.1 and grab /proc/last_kmsg but I am not seeing that file and didn't know if this would be a good place to start. Doesn't happen a lot but it has happened more on the newest test build for the Soak Test.

Because

1. Cyanogen mod has gone official for our device.

2. It's using kexec and soon it should be very stable and smooth, most everything already works.

3. I just haven't really run any Cm ROMs, I would like to in the future.

4. Using Cyanogen Mod will allow me to build form source and therefore increase my experience and the amount of modification I can do to the ROM. I can even make a custom Kexec kernel and package it with the ROM as the kernel source builds wit the ROM.

Pros:

More experience for me
Once I get used to modifying from source better experience from you as I maybe able to merge in features from other Open Source projects
Greater flexibility
More AOSP look

Cons:
I can almost guarantee webtop won't work
No Blur if you like that
I may have to wait on patches from Hash/dhacker/Cm team for bug fixes.

Looks like its almost unanimously Cyanogen mod... :D I'll give it a few days. I'll finish my blur build tomorrow, might have one or two bugs, but you'll only have to deal with it for 1-2 weeks before I go C. That is unless Blur manages to come back by an overwhelming margin.

Dude, your ROMs have been awesome. I'd say that moving forward you should do whichever appeals to you most, and whichever is more fun/interesting/educational/whatever to you. I guarantee the folks here will flash whatever you put together, so go the route you'll e joy more dude!

I'm psyched that you want to do a CM 10.1 ROM. I am running one right now and it's really nice. I was disappointed that I can't find more of them. I'm excited to see what you would do with one. Keep up the good work!

Only issue I have with it being based on CM is that there is no HDMI support

Yep, should probably delete that one. That was the first build I made on Arch, did a lot of experimental stuff.

No build, the one I had was do riddled with bugs and problems I honestly thought it was a disgrace to release.

Get your CM nightlies at get.cm if you have a hunger for Cyanogen Mod... I'm running it with some tweaks and its pretty good.

Sorry everybody. I've been starving you guys lately lol

No worries big guy. Other than gapps crashing it looked beautiful. You've done such a stupendous job to this point, I would never down any of your work.

I have tried two kexec cm 10.1 roms and they seems to be pretty nice. However on both rom I can only get BT to work on first boot. After a reboot the BT won't turn on anymore. I don't know where has gone wrong and I don't even know where to ask the question because I am not sure weather it's issue from the rom or kernel.
