Ok, I scanned the past few pages and didnt see anyone else ask this question... I am having youtube sign in errors. I have tried to delete the app and reinstall it from the market and still had the same issue. When the ROM was debloated was there a YouTube authenticator that was removed?

Try moving it to /system/app I think that helped somebody else a few pages back.

Ver 1.2. I installed after wiping everything. When I send a text message I get an error saying google search has force closed. Happens with every message. When I make a call and pull the phone away from my face the screen stays black and I have to press power key to wake it back up to end it. Neither of these issues happened on 1.0 or 1.1 for me.

Don't have the Google Search has FCd when texting. Neither do I have that problem with calling. I just used both functions less than 20 minutes ago... reflash no wipes, flash with all wipes, etc etc all the typical troubleshooting.

So on version 1.2 running smooth as hell. Man if the random reboots would stop after every flash, a fully operable Google now and YouTube working this would be flawless. Saved the blur SMS and replaced it for the 1.2 works like a charm. Nice work man

I'm going to be getting out another version tonight or tomorrow. I'm debating on whether to try my hand doing cool innovative things or just making this as solid as it can be for now. I don't really have the patience to do hard stuff and I resent that. I got that far on the AOSP lockscreen which is basically everything in framework-res and some broken code in android.policy.jar, than I lost interest lol and I hate that. I have to be constantly looking at the zip, not spending too long on one thing or I get bored. Probably halfway done, good thing I still have the files, though I probably won't ever go back to it.

I say focus on making it as solid as possible just like you did with flick. After you make a solid base, themers can theme the ROM and you can work adding new cool stuff and your flashing sparkles

Moved to system/app. Problem still persists.... Oh well, not a biggie. Doesn't affect the way the ROM runs!

Calendar Looks cleared up... Might have been a network thing. Kept getting failed to sync on my accounts page under settings.(where it shows all accounts synched) Seems to be fine now. Would love to see the ability to us smart actions. Not the best app but keeping my phone silent during meetings was convenient.

Try PhoneWeaver to replace Smart Actions, personally I like it much better than SA, and started using it on the stock ROM months ago.

I don't like how that app is centered around profiles.

I'd say go for making it solid before trying newer stuff. It's easier to stamp out bugs when you have a stable base.

It's not like there aren't lock screen replacements out there people can run if they want other stuff on there. I'd also check with the aosp devs to see if they are already working on the same thing so you aren't redoing work someone else has done.
I'm guessing you are trying to add the slider shortcuts to the settings like it is on here to do this.

Yessir that is what I am talking about! Got transparency done for the framework. AOSP apps not so cooperative lol

The transparency looks really really cool in Contacts and Phone, might make it a little darker, I'll have to see how it looks. Now I have o modify all the apps to pull their backgrounds from framework-res so its uniform.

I think I'm going to work on the AOSP lockscreen again if these AOSP apps don't work. I know that the problem is in either framework.jar or android.policy.jar.
