So I have an xt1080 that I rooted and put twrp on. Worked great and all, til I tried to flash CM11 ... Rebooted to Security Error. I've seen this happen to a friend and I fixed his but he was able to get into Fast boot mode. I, however, can't get into Recovery/Download/Fastboot modes, period. The only thing I saw that I thought might have been a "saving grace" was the Factory Cable that forces Download or Fastboot mode. Only, when I plug it in following instructions to the "T", nothing happens. Sometimes I'll get a green LED for a minute or two, and the phone shows up as FORGE HS-USB QDLOADER 9008 (COM18).
PLEASE TELL ME ONE OF YOU BRILLIANT MINDS CAN HELP ME
Just to reiterate - I HAVE NO ACCESS TO RECOVERY/DOWNLOAD OR FASTBOOT MODES

The QDloader error is the kiss of death. It is now a paperweight. I have not seen anyone come back from that error.

There is a jtag box for sale on amazon for $322.00 that is said to beable to reflash the original software, but at $322.00 then having to find the software for that model phone. 
I haven't seen anyone willing to go that route yet.
This was posted in another thread. But reading the description it says nothing about qualcomm or motorola.
