Hi, I've been recently trying to to flash a stock firmware onto my soft-bricked, stock, locked, not-rooted, Droid Razr HD XT926- running (or was running) 4.4.2. Whenever I've tried to to flash a firmware I've gotten errors along the lines of:
"07/07/15 22:19:11 [Device ID: 0] 1/17 flash partition "gpt.bin"
My stock recovery has an ADB sideload option, which allows me to flash update.zip files via my computer. With fastboot, I've been trying to flash the "VZW_XT926_4.4.2-KDA20.62-15.1_1FF.xml.zip" firmware, from drdev.com. If I wanted to try to flash it with ADB, would I just put the phone in sideload mode, rename the file to "update.zip", move it to my current directory, and call "$adb sideload update.zip"? I haven't been able to find much documentation on sideloading, and I assume that whatever is causing fastboot to fail would mess this up too, but I'm pretty much at the end of my rope with this and running out of things to try. Is there any chance that adb would work where fastboot doesn't?
Thanks so much,
Yeshaya
