Please my droid maxx HD has been heating up and drains battery quickly, what do I do please?

Please my droid maxx HD has been heating up and drains battery quickly, what do I do please?

download a battery monitoring program like gsam from the playstore and let it run a day or so and look at what is using the most battery. Its going to be a process of elimination to find and get rid of the app or apps that are causing the problem.

Other than that it could be cells dropping out in the battery, meaning the battery is dying and could need replaced.

I ve run the gsam and honestly I didn't see any extraordinary behaviour from any of the apps. Could it be that the battery is getting weak? Thanx
