Been running this ROM for a couple of weeks noe but never tried out the navigation until today. It just keeps saying searching for gps and never gets a lock. I tried coping and pasting the gps.config from my stock rom backup which I know that works but that didn't seem to help. Any ideas?

Restore your stock rom, let it get a solid gps lock, then reboot into recovery and flash the rom again. That tip has been in multiple rom threads.
