I have had my razr m for a couple years now, and since I've had it or sometime shortly after I put a rom on called deadrage. This is a xt907 and has the android version 4.2.2. I'm looking to start fresh.. nothing physically wrong with this phone and I actually like its size and speed. Just time for something different. Problem I have is its been a couple years and I'm pretty rusty to say the least on what needs to happen. Just want a newer rom installed more or less. Maybe just flash a new rom, or because its been a couple years would I need to go back to stock, get the updated android version, then do what I need to do? Also, any roms preferred? Looking for something stable and usable as a daily driver. not a requirement but I like the inverted gapps and blacked out themes. you know, cuz it looks cool

Got to check out Exodus! Dirty unicorns is pretty good too. I have the maxx hd. Daily driver is Exodus. Currently running one tweaked by JL that I always end up coming back to. I don't think you need to worry about updates. I didn't but I was only missing one.

Is your bootloader unlocked? If not your options are pretty slim.

I assume since he had a ROM previously, his BL is unlocked, especially since there is no relocking the M's.

I thought dead rage was used during the safestrap days before the unlocked bootloader. I'm not sure if anybody still uses that.
