Hunt down the House of Moto in this forum.

BTW, if you are on the XT926, you posted in the wrong area.

If you are on a XT912, you shouldn't be using flashify.

Never rooted a phone before I have the Android Moto RAZR Maxx xt912. System version 98.72.165.XT 912.Verizon.en.US Android version jelly bean 4.1.2. I'm not completely familiar with what all it would take to root and then install a new ROM, or what I would need to do if I screw up at some point while trying to get the phone rooted if any of you could give me some ideas on what to look up, research, or let me know what steps to take to making everything run smooth id really appreciate it! Definitely willing to donate to someone taking the time to help me out. Thanks

For rooting.... You will want to look for saferoot.....
For the ability to flash ROMs you need to look at/for safestrap (you can easily make backups as well in safestrap)...... To have a "_failsafe" so-to-speak.... Sam's house of moto (or matt's 912 jellybean utility) is what you need......
For various ROMs still available for the 912.... Look in the ROM section in this forum (RAZR 912).....

That should give you a good start .... Remember we are always here to help should you run into any issues :):)

BTW ..... All these can be found right here on droidrzr :):)

(No need for seemingly endless searching on Google, etc)

Alright I got the safe root file but I can't seem to find the safe strap or Sams house of moto either. I'm really nervous I'm going to screw something up. I know computers fairly well but how easy is it to do all of this to a phone? As far as the rooting process and flashing a ROM goes they are two different processes correct? Will just rooting the phone for now speed it up or let me take the bloatware off at least? Thanks again the helps much appreciated!
