[XT-912 ONLY][ROOT][Windows] Razr Blade: Droid Razr 4.1 JB root exploit

I had Bluestacks installed before the whole process began. I uninstalled that.
I think it even worked with the latest version updated smart actions. I have auto updates on (but how do I know?)
Need to clear cache and data from apps>manage apps. I stopped processes also.
When running the root app, I had to help the reboot process or be more patient. When it was rebooting and appeared hung, I rebooted it manually with the power button and the script recognized the reboot when powered on.
I tried so many combinations of things that I'd not know what worked. It saved me from wiping the phone as recommended!
Good luck!

Also, I wiped using home>>apps (options button) > manage apps then find the program, clear data and cache. This worked for me, but from a LOT of reading on this thread (20+ pages) I"ve seen some have an updated smartactions app, and they'll need to factory wipe, install base the Jelly Bean with the original smartactions with the exploit still in there.

To flash, you need to use RSD Lite in Winblows (Sorry, there isn't a Mac/Linux version) You can find it here:
I don't take any credit for either of those files, since I didn't upload them, but they should work for you.
If you need to flash in Mac OS or Linux, unzip the sbf file, and copy the script I wrote from , along with the proper fastboot executable into the same directory where you unzipped the contents of the sbf file, and flash by typing the following command in the terminal:
I also converted the run.bat script for Razr Blade to a Mac/Linux sh script. Just like with the above script, extract the contents, and copy the script and the appropriate adb executable into the directory where you extracted the Razr Blade exploit. To execute the script, type the following command in the terminal within the Razr Blade directory
I tested both of these scripts in Mac OS, and I was able to flash a fresh system and root with no problems. I hope this will help anyone who is still having problems. I only tested the scripts in Mac OS, but they should work in Linux also. Mac OS doesn't require drivers, and I don't believe Linux does either. If anyone wants to test the scripts in Linux, feel free to do so and post your results.

I've not had a root in many years , so anyone who can tell me how to exploit , let me know. I got to clockworkmod tecovery on my device , tried a sideload via adb too

Your user info says you're on the Razr Maxx HD. This exploit is only for the Razr & Razr Maxx. It will not work on the Razr HD family of phones.

Sorry, totally misread this to support 9.16 and Razr HD. I hope someone can grab an exploit and standing by to donate. Cheers
This should work for you:
