Dan, thanks for all your hard work! I'm new on this forum (spent a lot of time at XDA until I got a Razr), but I'm not a complete n00b at this stuff, yet I must be doing something wrong. The exploit executes, but fails at a few points, and since the exploit has worked for others, I'm guessing I'm doing something wrong, or there's an issue with the phone. While executing the script, it seems to fail on pushing pwn.jar, as it indicates that 0 bytes were copied. The full output is below. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Is your USB mode as Mass Storage by any chance?

im not getting root access either. USB debugging and in mass storage mode. any ideas?

I am but i didnt got to get started as i already had it set uo so i just enabled the one it said to and then deleted my others.

BTW for anyone reading for assistance, wacocapretto didn't actually wipe his data. After he did it worked fine :)

I had an issue the first time I ran it, as I was running a USB scanner at the same time.

I shut off all running applications and disconnected my scanners and printers, and ran it again.

Worked fine!

running this on virtualbox xp via-ubuntustudio is not working. Stuck on Phase Two..... I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to get to my work computer that runs XP..... errrrrr.. the wait! sooooooo close!

Just FYI for EVERYONE, you NEED to have the Smart Actions app installed on your phone for this exploit to work. So if it's frozen, erased, modified, any or all of the above, you need to start from scratch or you will have errors.
