EDIT never mind guys, i'm a dumbass. forgot to put it in MTP. worked fine this time.

Glad you got it figured out. Sorry I didn't reply in time to help.

Does this root exploit on the regular first Razr? I ran it and I get a bunch of errors like multiple emulators and it just scrolls through each phase and never actually roots the phone.

Gentlemen,
I am totally new to this rooting business.
I have a droid razr maxx HD, with android 4.1.1 running.
I have followed all steps, reset factory settings, usb debugging enabled, and in MPT storage mode.
The exploit fails in all phases.
I have read similar issues from others, and read a lot, and i am really confused. I dont think i have flashed my phone (dont know what it means).
Can anyone help me, and sorry for being a complete novice at this

This exploit only works on the original RAZR, not the U.S. series.

Did you add adb to the environment variables path?

Navigate to & Left_Click on Start >
Right_Click on Computer >
Left_Click on Advance System Settings >
Left_Click on Environment Variables >
Left_Click on New ( User Variables ) >

Variables Name: ADB ( Or anything you want )
Variables Value: ;C:SDKtools ( Just like this, This is the Path of my adb.exe )

You must put a ; in front of ;C: ( adb Path goes here / Variables Value: )

Left click on start and type cmd. Right click on the result (which should be cmd.exe) and left click on run as administrator. After the window pops up (with your phone connected) type 'adb devices' without the ' and it should show listed devices with your serial number under it.
