OK, for some reason this isn't doing anything. The exploit stops at "daemon started successfully" or something like that. THen nothing. Waited for probably 5 minutes with no action.
Unknown sources and debugging enabled.
PHone should be in AP fastboot right?

Won't work on razr I. You could unlock your boot loader. Flash a custom recovery via fastboot. Boot into recovery and flash superuser zip. Then boot into phone and download superuser app. If you don't want to unlock your bootloader let me know and a will give you a link to a modified Motofail2go utility for the razr I.

Thanks for the reply, I have tried again to get into fast boot mode but no joy, just to confirm I have to power down, then hold power and Vol down at the same time? Like in the video that was on the post you sent me?

Power and vol down is like a battery pull you need all three

Didn't see he wasn't holding all 3 down lol. Yes holding all 3 will get you into fastboot.

When you power off hold all3 you get android guy then press both volume you get list go to recovery or fast from there.

I have attempted to follow your instructions but I must not be doing something Wrong bc it never goes through. Can anyone help me please? I need detailed instructions on how to do everything bc I am electronic stupid..... Thanks

tried that and still nothing. Just sits after it says "daemon started successfully."

EDIT never mind guys, i'm a dumbass. forgot to put it in MTP. worked fine this time.
