And it stops there. Nothing else happens. I have tried rebooting the computer and the phone. I have the correct version, latest drivers, I am in debugging mode and I am NOT in mass storage mode. Nothing i do gets me past the Daemon message. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Oh, and a little more info: I have NEVER rooted anything before, but I am diligent in following instructions.

I uninstalled updates for smart actions. Then I put battery saver mode on in smart actions. Did u do this? At the end when its in clean up, the screen will wake and sleep a few times, take notice if super user is asking for permessions, a few people said this happens. Once granted its good to go. I personally had the screen wake and sleep for a bit on clean up and then it closed the diag. Box for the exploit. Then I went in apps so super user, updated it, downloaded WiFi tether and titianium and tested. All good, then I cleared cache and rebooted.

do you have lastest smart actions installed?
I uninstalled Smart Actions updates. It' didn't help. From the 3 hours I have spent scouring the web trying to find a solution, I am beginning to think it is ADB related. Still unsure though. Still trying new things.
EDIT: I figured it out. When I checked to make sure my drivers were up to date, I only checked on the phone itself. I didn't realize I needed the desktop usb drivers. That's the problem with being a n00b. Oh well we all have had our "first time" at some point or another. Now that I have it rooted. I need to figure out what to do next. Hopefully it is less painful than the trial and error I have already put myself through. Thanks

Does this exploit come with Clockwork Mod Recovery? As I said, this is all brand new to me.

Do I need to find and install Safestrap, or is it already there?

Now, time for a question.
I noticed I have BOTH SuperSU and SuperUser as installed apps on my system. Obviously, I don’t need both.
So, which one does this rooting install, and presumably it should be the one I keep, and the one that Voodo tries to preserve.
Thanks to all!
