Im getting a " 'adb' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file" after phase one. I get to the end and nothing happens to my phone...

WHAT DO I DO?? D:

Extract the whole zip to its own folder on your desktop. That error means you are running it from inside the zip or you only extracted the .bat file.

Will this work with the Atrix HD? I heard the Razr and Atrix are almost identical except for carrier and slight software differences.

I'm currently using Atrix HD MB886 on 4.1.1.

As far as I've gone with my research, MotoFail2Go does not work on 4.1.1 JB. I have been told by 3+ users on Reddit there is no way to root on 4.1.1 (as of 2 days ago), and no way to downgrade back to 4.0.4 that I could find. However some root guides say it works on any version, but those are from October, so I don't think they meant 4.1.1, which wasn't released until December.

Thanks, I haven't been on this forum for more than an hour, this was the first thread I've seen, and hope I'll be able to downgrade then upgrade back to keep root. Thanks, again!

FYI - for those who might've been getting the same results that I was (posted above) - it did go through after a factory reset..

this is what it should read..

As far as wifi tether, (i tried this trick: How to get free wifi tether on your rooted Droid Razr . All you need is SQlite
Open SQlite, go to "Setting Storage" with the tools, settings, settings, scroll down to number 79 entitlement check, move to the right and long press on the number should be a 1, select edit field, change the 1 to a 0, save and back out and reboot. You should have free wifi tether.)

Did all that, but 79 isn't entitlement in this build and could not find where it moved.

with that being said, i download this app from the market https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.googlecode.android.wifi.tether

And wifi worked well with that. :)

Thank You Dan!

I first laughed with irony when I loaded the webpage and had seen this thread posted. Why? Earlier today I had called into verizon wireless about issues with my razr maxx and in light of things I will be receiving a brand new razr maxx later today.

I am greatly appreciative of all the developers hard work they have committed to their droidrzr.com fans.

I'm using that app too. It seems to work well.
