Any Suggestions Before I Do It Again? IT doesn'T Say I Have Any Updates For Smart Actions Installed, And I Cleared The Data For It. I Can't Think Of Anything Else.

Nah I got nothing. Just watch for errors and post a screenshot if you get some

I got the OTA this morning, and ran the Blade after. On my Windows 7 machine, the batch file never finds the device.
On the XP machine, I get the same errors as others reported on phase 3. I haven't been able to find the drivers for the MTP mode for XP.
Is there a link for these?
I've already downloaded and installed the Motorola Device Manager from their website.

UPDATE:
Ran the utility again and it worked! Not sure what I did different, but Thanks Dan!

For those using the OSX / Mac script, I updated the razr_blade.sh file in order to get it to install. Like others in the group, I was getting the error that others have posted where the script would fail. Rather than perform a FDR i used it as a clue that perhaps the phone hadn't completely settled down yet when the script was trying to continue. So, my change was to change the Sleep command in the script from Sleep 40 to Sleep 80. After making this change, the script ran perfectly.

Hope this helps anyone with the problem on a Mac, although I suspect the same situation could apply for a PC.

Did you do the sqlite hack? If not, you have to do it again.

Dan you are the man!! I tried to install the JB OTA update and it kept failing...over and over. I used the 1.82 utility to flash back to stock after I already tried a factory reset then upgraded to JB without a hitch. Now time to get rooted!!

Thanks again!

I have followed the instructions completely and tried this 5 times. I am getting line after line of this and it does not root. Also an\ could not read ok from ADB server = 109

[*] Rebooting...
* daemon not running. starting it now *
ADB server didn't ACK
* failed to start daemon *
error: cannot connect to daemon

Razr Maxx. I was rooted before update but did not have updated SU binaries(stupid me) when I tried to use the method to keep root. Superuser is still showing on my phone but I am not rooted.
Please help.

Having the same problem, tried to keep root with Voodoo, but didn't update binaries, now I have superuser but can't grant root permission and can't install it. Plus Superuser SU doesn't work either, anybody get this working? thanks!

Do you have more then one device plugged in to your PC? Do you have blustacks app installed? Any gaming emulator apps installed? If so remove them...if not try a factory data reset and reboot PC just to be safe.

I had the Christmas JB update on my Razr Maxx, and ran this and it worked great...Then this update comes out....I put the Voodoo Root Keeper on and temp unroot it...reboot the phone and apply the update...

Then go back in to the Voodoo and un-temp-unroot it..and it never rechecks the root box...and I dont have root access..>Reboot a few times trying each tme to restore root, but no go...

So I rerun the RazrBlade hack again to reroot it, folllow all the instructions to the letter and end up with no root access...
