Does this work for the new official Jelly Bean build?

Yes

Edit: for smart actions to work you need to clear data for that app in manage apps then uninstall updates.

Thank you for the reply. I already tried it out and it worked great. I didn't have to do that for smart actions though. I just used one of the following options when prompted and everything worked out still.

Yes this will work for the new JB. Not sure what he means about one of the following. Check it out and let us know if you run into problems

Sorry, Did a factory Data reset and all is better now.

Also, I've found that it doesn't matter if you have other smart actions enabled (it saved the ones i had through backup assistant), just so long as battery saver is enabled

Glad you got it figured out. A factory data reset usually fixes those issues. Enjoy!

Thanks, y'all!

I had the same problem - once I got to phase 3:

I too use a Mac, had ICS4.04 (rooted), upgraded to JB4.12, and applied the script. I got the same 'permission denied' error.

I'll do a factory reset and then restore my apps with Titanium... I miss having Avast firewall, and I bet the phone will run a lot faster too... :)

NUTS!!

After a factory reset, I still got this...

bash razr_blade.sh

The Jelly Bean update is slow as well, but I'm hoping that's because it's trying to restore apps in the background (which it was doing).

What else could be going wrong? I really want root back so I can freeze and get rid of bloatware trash again... :(

Thanks!

Update:

I just ran the Windows version and there was no error of any sort shown in the script - yay!

I granted full root rights to Titanium, so - at least the Windows version - works with the RAZR.

From what I'd read on other forums, I wouldn't have been the first to do a factory reset -- and it never hurts to do, anyway...

But there could be a bug in the MacOS script...

The MacOS stuff works but is kludgy. I used it last night on a member that was having issues....I think we ran the utilities 4 or 5 times before everything went through fine.

Can I disable the Battery Saver in SmartActions?

Also this won't hurt the OTA right?

Thanks!

I ultimately reapplied JB onto my phone, after wiping the cache partition and re-rooting on my Windows machine. (the funny part is, despite doing a factory reset as well, some of my data still existed after the reinstall was done. I didn't see Android's auto-app reinstall take place, nor did I reinstall data with Titanium... Titanium did say my Android ID change, so I had it revert my ID to the original one. I've too many paid-for apps to take that risk...

So far it's working a lot better, though Chrome is laggy and battery-guzzling at times - but it's nothing like the complete system-wide lag I had before...

My CPU monitor programs still can't determine which process uses how much CPU time, but that's minor. The general reading of CPU usage is between 2 and 8% (as opposed to 50~90%).

I Installed The Ota This Morning And Tonight Tried The Razr Blade Utility. The superSU APp Installed But When I Try To Open It It Tells Me "There Is No SU Binary Installed, And superSU Cannot Install It. This Is A Problem!" I Also Cannot Unistall The superSU App. I Checked With Root Checker And I Do Not Have Root. Is It Safe To Try Again With That App Still Installed? I'm Pretty Sure I Followed All The Steps Correctly. Any Help Would Be Greatly Appreciated.

Any Suggestions Before I Do It Again? IT doesn'T Say I Have Any Updates For Smart Actions Installed, And I Cleared The Data For It. I Can't Think Of Anything Else.
