This method is for the JB leak (4.1.2) not ICS. Use Matt's utility to root that.

You will have to use the utility to go back to the. 211 kernel then flash the jb leak in stock recovery. Then root with razr blade.

Now that I've successfully side loaded the JB OTA, Rooted using Dan's Razr_Blade and run TripleCore for a month, how do I go back? I want to remove root, remove Safestrap and just go back to the JB OTA as it was before Razr_Blade. I got my email last night from Motorola to join the Soak Test and I want to do it CLEAN! Any help would be appreciated...

Not really a "good" way to do this. Only thing I can think is to use Matt's Unbrick utility to essentially "soft brick" your phone and then re-install the JB leak. I don't really recommend this though as I don't want you to get to a place you cannot recover from.

Edit: maybe you can go back to your unsafe side(stock rom) and factory reset??

Thank you for the response - I was pretty sure I had done the Factory Reset from the stock side but did it again to be sure. It still comes up rooted with Safestrap running - I can't find any instructions on removing SS and where it's part of the Boot structure, don't want to just delete it. I just finished downloading Matt's Unbrick Utility - I'll update you after I try it...

I have completely formatted my phone, Smart actions is not updated and I went to motoral website to download the latest drivers and installed them. USB Debugging is enabled. I am constantly getting "Link failed" and then a ton of other errors (Files not being saved or pushed). Any thoughts? This phone was not previously rooted and is completely stock.

FINAL NOTE: This is a Moto RAZR HD MAXX through verizon (obviously)

This is only for the OG Razr and Razr Maxx. Not Razr HD Maxx.

ahh, thanks. Are you aware of a root for that device? I have been doing a lot of research and haven't come across anything on my own.

After reading through this all I've realized why it didn't work... I thought this took you from ICS to JB. Oops! Oh well, hopefully I get picked for the early release.
