Changes made from 6.12.173 to 6.12.174 can be found at
assert(apply_patch("/system/app/BatteryReport.apk", "-",
8c9d4a337b436be3e118166bc2a7545f13004a29, 11010,
fd138d19003390bca68a8188f1f578aeb1341d87, package_extract_file("patch/system/app/BatteryReport.apk.p")));
I guess this didn't apply the 1% battery mod, huh?

Don't ask me if it'll work coming from other builds. This is mandatory. I will probably flame you or delete your post (depending on my mood) for asking if you can do this update straight from 6.11.748.XT912 or some other build. You can't.

I went to setup smart actions and the "Screen Timeout" setting no longer offers "30 minutes" or "Never timeout" options even though they are in the display settings.
I was able to get around this by keeping display settings at "Never timeout" and creating a smart action to turn off screen after one minute if not charging.
I want the screen to stay on all the time when charging for use in the car as GPS Navigation and such.

Apps like the Navigation will keep the screen on themselves. No need to setup an action for that.
Yeah I understand but if I'm not currently using GPS or XM radio and still want access to my screen at stop lights and such its just easier to have it never turn off than have to mess with reaching for the power button.

You would need to RSD or use the downgrade .zip to get back on.

If Verizon makes 174 official then you would be on the correct update path. It's such a small update though so I doubt they will release it. They will probably just throw the changes in their next big update.You will be taken off the path.

RSD/Fastboot is the only way to downgrade from 174. The downgrade zip only works on 173. If you haven't Fastbooted before it's really easy and there are good step by step guides to do it. Just like SBF'ing on the older Droids. I did it for the first time the other day and it went smoothly. Didn't even have to Wipe Data so i didn't lose anything. It does take a good 15 to 20 minutes to finish.

I will stay on .174 for now, and go to IC3 when its ready for prime time.

^^^ is not exactly clear to meTo let everyone know. 6.12.174 WILL NOT be official. Ever. I highly recommend NOT installing it, as if you cannot fastboot or RSD Lite this will take you off of upgrade path.
Are you saying if I install this (WHICH I ALREADY HAVE) I can't go back?

No, he's just saying if you've installed 174 you're going to have to RSD and re-upgrade to whatever we release. Before everyone blows up and goes crazy, know that this doesn't require you to wipe. You can RSD safely back to .744 and just re-apply your normal updates. (Don't forget to re-root).
We just know that 174 will not be part of the normal upgrade path.
