I was wondering if there was a way to create a md5 file a.zip. I downloaded a ROM and it says it could not be installed due to no md5 file found. A tut link would be greatly appreciated

If it didn't come with one, just disable md5 verification. Its in settings in TWRP. HashMyFiles can generate the md5 for you, then you can make it into a text file and name it the same as the .zip but with .md5 after it, and TWRP should see it

I rebooted into TWRP. and went to setting.. The option I found regarding it was Disable MD5 file verification during backup.. I'm not trying to back up just install.. But I selected it anyways and got the same error.. Haven't tried HashMyFiles yet but I am going to right now

There are two files in the .zip a psfreedom.ko file and a boot.IMG file.. Hash my files brought up the md5 files for both do I copy both seperatly and make two texts and put them in the same text file .md5?? Or two separate text files.. And where do I put the text file? In the same folder as the original.zip file?
