The phone getting hot?  For this rom, maybe.  (You being the only person this is happening too.)

 

Since I owned my first Android phone (Droid X), I've never had any android phone that hasn't gotten hot at some point in time, no matter if running custom roms or stock.  I've never been able to figure it out, but I've always thought it was due to something running in the background that was stuck and made the phone overheat.

 I really like 305, best battery life out of all the roms I have ever used. I placed it into my stock slot using ss360. One thing that doesn't work though is the notification light for emails. For texts ,yes. Don't understand what light flow is supposed to do and the weather panel doesn't seem to function either but the rom is smoother and faster than previousy and getting rid of the lock screen vibration is great. That is a pet peeve of mine. Great job ZK.

I suspect it's ss3.60 that might be messing with those apps. What is happening with the weather panel? Glad you're still enjoying it though!

weather panel does nothing. I set up the rom with ss311. then installed ss 360 and backed it up and then restored it to my stock slot. By the way, your donation site isn't usable and your up very early in Texas

Thanks for letting me know, I fixed the donation link I'm based in NYC at the moment so I am back and forth between Dallas and NYC

 

As for ss3.60, I'm still not sure about it. In my experience I never got Aviator Blur to flash. And then when I went back to 3.11, I couldn't get data and text messaging was crashing. I had to go to the safestrap folder in the internal SD and delete the ROM slots manually, rebuild the ROM slot with 3.11, and then I could flash the ROM. So there might be something in the mix that isn't quite right.

Have you tried any of the keyboards available free at Google Market? I find that they typically have more features than the stock keyboard, and are more customizable.

I personally prefer the Swiftkey keyboard, its very customizable and it looks great!

For some reason, every time I boot 3.0.6, The keyboard and ota updater spit out "_____stopped working" upon boot. I've wiped/re-created slots, re-downloaded the zip and gapps. What gives, man?

Which version of safestrap are you using? This ROM will flash with 3.11 without any issues. If there is an issue, I will fix it

I was using 3.11, I just upgraded to 3.6, we'll see what happens. I'll keep you posted
