I'm running this latest update with SS 3.11 on my wife's phone. Seems to be running well.  I'll have a full report from her tomorrow morning when I see her again.

Just FYI I love this rom but in 3.05 the music player crashes my phone when the screen locks the previous revision did not and the new built in settings crash before loading.  I am on a droid razr maxx, thought i would provide some feedback. Also I did notice that booting up takes significantly longer than stock, am i doing something wrong with the configuration I am talking about like a 5 minute bootup time.

I have updated the GSM patch for v3.0.5. Find it in the OP!

I'm traveling to Greece & Turkey and have probably dumb question about the GSM Patch.

From my searches I found 1) is for non-US users of the ROM who are on GSM / UMTS Networks? 2) for US Verizon customers like me it won't make connecting to US GSM networks possible because of Verizon blocking.

So I interpret this to mean
- if I want to buy one of Verizon's Global data packages or just roam I'm good to go with no patch and will connect to one of their partners fine
- if I want to pop in a local SIM when I'm overseas, I should flash the patch?

If I do the later, the patch won't interfere with when I'm back on Verizon's network, yes?

Been running stock too long... had gotten use to how crappy stock was and decided it was time to do another Rom.  Since this one is still getting active updates, I decided to go with it and I've been very happy!  I forgot how HORRIBLE stock really is!!!!  

 

I do have one problem, though.  I searched through this thread here, but didn't see anyone else with the same issue.  (Or, if I missed it, please just point me in the right direction.)

 

I use my car dock for my phone daily.  Both as a hands-free solution and for streaming music off my Google account.  When the phone is in car dock mode, when the screen goes to lock, the phone reboots.  I tested it out a few times this morning and this only happens when the phone is car dock mode.  I can play music just fine out of the dock and no lockscreen issues.  If I put the phone in the car dock while the screen it on, it launches the car dock just fine without any problems and I'm able to do anything.

The second the screen either auto dims and locks, or I press the lock button, I instantly get a reboot.

 

Anyone experience this?

 

Edit:  Ok, I've been able to reproduce this WITHOUT the car dock.  It appears the problem come from the homescreen (no matter if in the dock or not) being in LANDSCAPE mode and the lock screen being applied. I just had it happen when I enabled 'auto-rotate' under Apex settings.

Thats a similar issue to what i was talking about when i was playing music and the screen locks.

Do you mind running v3.0.4 and seeing if you have the same issue? I think its the framework since I changed it to get the AOSP lock screen. I might go back to the stock lock screen for stability

I can confirm similar behavior as well, which appears to be relegated to 3.0.5 only. I've been meaning to ask if anyone else was experiencing it, but I gave up and went back to 3.0.4, which doesn't seem to exhibit that behavior. I have both a multimedia and a car dock, and I've seen it happen with both, though I was never able to determine if it was the dock causing it or not. Seems like Nadious was able to narrow down the cause specifically, which if I get a chance, I'll reflash 3.0.5 and see if I can confirm it.

OK, it someone confirms its only 3.0.5 then I'll go back to the stock lockscreen for the next update and it should fix it

So far, so good on 3.0.6. I fairly certain that it would have rebooted by now if I were still on 3.0.5; not a single reboot so far, and seems very snappy as well.

I also downloaded this and flashed.  Issue doesn't appear to show up here anymore.  Thanks so much!  I'll test it out in the dock tomorrow, but so far, landscape mode and locking the screen doesn't cause a reboot like it was doing.  Loving the ROM!

Had an odd issue this am. Made a phone call to my boss. When I was done, the phone stayed black (wouldn't light up when pulled away from my face) so I couldn't end the call. Had to reboot as phone was stuck with no screen and the keys were lit up. Will see if this happens again. This was on 3.0.6.

That does happen every now and again. The screen will come on, you just have to be patient and wait a minute. A reboot also fixes it, but I'm my experience, its faster just to wait for it to do its thing
