Are you supposed to re-run the Overclock script after each boot (What I'm doing) or are the overclock settings supposed to stick through a reboot.

I'm on 3.53 and all the Stock based roms I've tried flashing have failed for me on the virtual rom slots saying, E:Error executing updater binary in zip '/sdcard-ext/rom zip name here' then Error flashing zip '/sdcard-ext/rom zip name here' I haven't tried flashing this rom yet but saw this post thought I'd let you know. I've tried switching the updater binary from the cm10.2 builds that flash for me to the Stock based roms but I still get the same error.

 

 

i've noticed the same issues with SS3.53. 

 

oddly, Aviator AOKP flashed fine on 3.53 yesterday morning, but after a couple of failed flash attempts for Avaitor Blur, I deleted and created a new slot #2 and AOKP gave the same error as the Blur ROMs I tried (Aviator & Breakneck)!

 

reverted back to SS3.11 until more kinks get worked out.

What do you want to see in the next update? I'm thinking of going back to the 4.1 camera. I think it took better photos. Any other ideas?

I found the battery life worse on  the latest update and use the original camera which is much better than the updated camera. Due to battery life I stayed with the 3.03 version and when safestrap 3.60 came out I placed it in my stock slot.

A:

I went to another version of the camera (4.1.2-58) which I pulled from one of the 'rage ROMS', not sure which one. Stores images to the SDCard and I agree that it takes better pictures and has more controls.

After cycling through all the latest XT912 ROMS including AOKP, I'm still back on this Blur ROM as it locks onto GPS faster than any other ROM i've used.

I do agree with the poster that claimed 3.0.3 had better battery life for whatever reason but since I have to charge every day it is of little concern to me.

I daily drive this ROM without error and it is solid for everything I do.

 

The two option things I miss, which are the only things I see as worthwhile from other ROMS are

 

LED controls from AOKP.

A 'Recovery' choice for Reboot in the power control menu.

'editable' lockscreen function like AOKP so you can reassign apps, or assign more targets and/or change the app target icon.

 

I enjoyed being able to see at a glance what I missed on the phone by the LED color.

sometimes I miss the menu option in Safe Strap when the phone reboots....and I am lazy.

The 4 way lockscreen targets are OK 80% of the time, but sometimes i just need to hit a browser or Yelp and since you are asking I'm putting it out there.

 

This is my favorite ROM by far.

I went over to 3.0.5 briefly to try it out, but I'm back on 3.0.4.

The power menu option for 'bootloader' kinda freaked me out when I tried it. 

I use recovery far more often than the bootloader.

I see the 3.0.7 has a flashable color theme option now...I'm really t empted to move forward again to try a green one.

I haven't seen a decent green theme since 'DarkSlide 'X' on the Droid X.

Maybe i'll make the move.

So far I have LED control baked into the settings. It runs off Light Flow Lite (free version) so it will not have all of the features but it should work for now.

Changing the lock screen is quite a bit of work so I'm just going to leave it for now and perhaps get to it when I have more free time

Slight delay with the update. Safestrap 3.60 is giving me a "No OS installed" after installing the ROM. Might be a day or two before I get the update out.

Aviator Blur 3.05 is up in the OP with updated screenshots!

 

The current utility and themes will need to be updated before use.

 

This may work with Safestrap 3.60, but I would recommend using/downgrading back to 3.11 until Safestrap 3.6 is given the 100% all clear.
