I was looking for 3.0.3 'blur' when I downloaded the .zip.

Took me by surprise when I saw the boot animation

 

I like to customizations for AOKP which make the phone a real gadget, but I've never run a ROM that hooks up with GPS faster than Aviator BLUR, and at the end of the day its the function of GPs and Mapping that i need the phone for.

What is up with the 'downgrade' of Google Maps? No more announcing street names in the now very limted turn-by-turn voice navigation? I've been using mapquest lately with great success because it has been improved vastly while Google maps has been deteriorated

Still uploading the updated gmail build, about 5 more minutes. I haven't updated the google apps as usual so there shouldn't be any signature issues.

Ok, so v3.0.4 Build 2 (just labeled as "3.0.4") is in the OP! The only change was the gmail app which can now be updated. Let me know if you guys find anything else or have any other comments

ZKK007, I prefer old Gmail before labeling crap, too. I also hate the new Maps. Do you all notice it's kinda laggy on our older devices? I have to use old as it's snappier

Build 2 downloaded and installed. No problems found. Back to EJW (everything just works.) Thanks for the update to my favorite blur Rom.

Just ignore it for now, or you can freeze it if you have the full Titanium Backup. I will probably be pushing this via OTA tomorrow and it wont matter which build you are on since they have the same OTA details. Therefore, the OTA notifications will stop after I have pushed it via OTA. I am waiting to make sure there is nothing wrong or anything I have missed

 

As for gmail, on the build I put out yesterday, it has the older gmail which you can't update. I put 3.0.4 build 2 up today which fixes that issue.

Well, I always recommend wiping, but it should be OK. Just be prepared for a full wipe in case the dirty flash messes up

Yeah, it does, but I like to be on the safe side when I make recommendations The biggest issues arise when you go from one ROM to another without a full wipe. But if you're just updating a ROM, then a dirty flash SHOULD be OK

I used Titanium Backup. Deleted the bad Gmail, and installed the good one from the market & turned it into a system app.

Looks to be the stock jelly bean keyboard. I myself don't use it, I've been a long term fan of Better Keyboard 8
