When OC'ing, why do you need the paid version of SetCPU. I use the built in No-frills CPU to set the frequencies and it constantly holds them where you set them. They never revert back to stock. OMG THANK YOU.. GSM DATA NOW WORKING  AND IT EVEN FIXED MY SIGNAL ISSUES WITH JB ... but i noticed i do not have camera now?? and the one from the lock screen says cant connect to camera  .how can i fix that?

I don't think that holds them even though it appears too. Turn your screen on and off and then check to see what your max frequency is.
The reason why I suggest set CPU is because it allows you to set profiles. You can make a profile that will allow for max frequency when the screen is on which fixes the screen off frequency reset which appears to happen.
Let men know how you get on. Also, I'm assuming you are on blur?

ZK I have played with the CPU actions in tasker but very little, I was wondering if you had tried to create the profiles in tasker, I know that you could create the profiles and set the frequencies but is there something special about setcpu or would tasker work the same?

Yes Blur, its holding perfectly. I check the screen on and off frequencies with Rom Toolbox Pro. I think the trick is to make sure to check that little box in settings.<br /><br />Sent from my Razrius Maxximus.<br /><br />

When I export guys, the file shows as: profilename.prf.xml or taskname.tsk.xml

 

the prj is probably a Project export, and those are: projectname.prj.xml

Edit: Disregard, I got it to import by taking off "beginner mode" and adding it via the home button within the app.

I cant seem to find PB2.2 any longer and 2.5 seems to have just died.... so I have no way to test...

I haven't looked into it, but does it just increase your 3G signal? If so, there are many different network tweaks in Blur which are aimed at the same thing. They are mainly tweaks which I researched and found over the internet and slightly tweaked. So it could have some of the same tweaks as you mention if its aimed at increasing 3G network.

Hi ZKK, just installed the AOKP last night, and loving it overall, but I've got a weird glitch cropping up: None of my music player apps will play audio anymore. They all either crash out or just won't do anything when I press play. I've erased my SD card and cleared the cache in SS to no avail. Have you run across this before, or is my phone's memory just corrupted? Even when I erased all my music out of the memory, the apps still report that it exists (and that's after dumping the cache too). I still have a few more ideas, but it's getting toward the end of my limited bag of noob tricks.

What kind/size is your SD card? Is it correctly formatted? I haven't come across this before.

Sorry I've been our of commission for a few days. Did you get everything working? I am on the beta version of tasker downloaded from the devs website, but I don't think that would make a difference.

I have not run into this either....did you try to delete the cache on the app itself? go to Apps, Manage, and then delete the cache there, thats the only thing I can think of since you tried almost everything else.

I did. Twice. I've also tried on two different 32 gig SD cards. No luck. I'm wondering if I had a bad install. It took me two tries to get the flash right ... the first time my wifi wouldn't turn on at all and I had to reinstall it. I don't know if my zip maybe got corrupted. Thing is, my audio player (MixZing) and the baked-in Apollo player both won't work.
