The level of customization that AOKP brings is unbelievable, I had tried AOKP roms in the past but they were all extremely buggy and I didn't stay on them long enough to see what they could do.
I am so satisfied with this rom that I am having a hard time making myself update to 1.0.3, but hopefully this weekend I'll get it done.

anybody have any luck making google voice work on aokp 1.0.3. had trouble with it working on 3.0.2 but restoring an older ver from ti b'up made it work, that hasn't worked for aokp so far. tried wiping cache, dalivk cache. no voice is a deal breaker for me. love the rom otherwise.

Is it possible to delete Apex from this Rom? I use Nova and would like to totally remove Apex from my device. I see that it is a system app, which is preventing me from deleting it. I am running the Blur based version of this Rom. Any help would be wonderful.

Freezing it with Titanium Backup Pro is probably the best option. Or, once you install Nova, go in and manually delete Apex launcher.
I thought I put it in /data/app, but I think I moved it for 3.0.2. It is back in data/app for 3.0.3 whenever that comes out

Sweet, I will give that a try. Thanks for the quick response.

Aokp is pretty stable for the most part. I used bytecodes kernel too. I get random restarts but only once in a while.

I tried this and it screwed my rom all up. From what i read i need to flash the kernel b4 i set anything up. I did not the 1st time. I flashed it over my already setup aokp 1.03 and it went crazy. I deleted slot and tried again flashing kernel right after the rom and gapps. Booted and it started fine. I rebooted to flash a tibu zip and get my apps and data and when i rebooted same thing everything went haywire. I haven't had much luck. But this is my first kernel im trying to custom flash.

I felt like doing something on Photoshop and quickly threw this together for anyone who wants it. This is also in the OP

I'm having one major problem on the latest AOKP 1.0.3 build: bluetooth won't turn on any more after the first or second reboot. It was working fine earlier, and indeed was on and connected when I had to force a reboot because the screen wouldn't turn on. I have wiped cache and fixed permissions, but that didn't help. Any suggestions?
thanks!

Sorry, I'm still having troubles getting into my dev-host account to upload it. Here is a dropbox link that I will maintain until it gets up on dev-host:
Let me know how you get on with this.
Just flash on top of the ROM

I would probably consider wiping and starting again. I know that probably wasn't the answer you wanted to hear, but once you have the phone set up again, be sure to make a back-up just in case something happens again.
I will keep an ear open to see if this issue arises again

UPDATE:
Got it working by updating the drivers from the motorola site. Maybe I was usuing drivers from XP which was my old PC.
