Hmm ill have to try it with bytes kernel. I flashed the aokp yesterday morning. It locked up on me twice and had to force a reboot, wiped cache, and dalvik and fixed permissions and seemed to help for a while and then locked up again.

Really liking aokp so far can't wait to see what comes next in the rom! Just wondering if someone can tell me if there is somewhere in aokp to adjust animation speed?

AOKP has been updated to v1.0.3

 

Change log:
Updated boot animation.

Updated RW Tweaks and other tweaks for performance and battery.

Added Apex Launcher as a launcher option.

 

I will be pushing this via OTA shortly.

Hey ZK do you still recommend hotplug for the aokp rom?

Edit: Also I'm sorry if this has been answered already but to upgrade do we wipe cache, dalvik and do we need to flash gapps after update as well?

Sure, I haven't included hotplug in AOKP, but I do think that hotplug and sio make a good combination.

 

I always recommend wiping everything. If you are on a previous version on AOKP, you shouldn't need to wipe the ROM slot, just wipe cache, dalvik cache, factory reset, and system.

If WiFi doesn't turn on, try this:

 

Reboot and wipe cache, dalivk cache.

Go into advanced and fix permissions.

Reboot.

 

Let me know if this works and I will add it too the under the bugs section.

 

If you still don't have data, then you will need to reflash.

thank you , now wifi turns on and I have signal but for some reason the signal icon still shows no bars and carrier still shows verizon wireless instead of Claro .. btw what is the toggle verizon wireless for?

The toggle will turn data on and off. Is Claro a US cell network? This ROM is based on Verizon and that is why it is around the place. It is built into the build.prop.

nvm it switched now to Claro Dominican Republic .. I also noticed that sms messages aren't going out .. They have a caution sign in error?? might be my carrier idk? 

Any word on the empty signal bar icon? Is there a way to manually check the signal strength

I just tried them and they all worked for me. They are all still on my d-h account too, so if there is a problem, it will be an easy fix

Are you on a GSM network? I know there is an AOKP GSM patch floating around in XDA. You will need to flash that in order for this ROM to run on a GSM network.
