sorry jk, I monitor a lot of the forums and cant read everything sounds like you need to decide which you want, the patch or the camera and display working

if i'll not install patch, then i'll only have android player , not a phone

I'm seriously impressed with this ROM given the amount of time you worked on it. This is my first aokP rom. And i love it. It looks like it's a little mix of CyanogenMod and the rest of the roms out there. So many features! Seriously after I setup this rom I deleted like 5 apps that I use, that this ROM came with the features. My voice to text was not working but just make sure everyone goes into play store and updates all your apps, that was the problem. To be a little picky the only thing I don't like as of now it is there's no launcher control. I'm not a big fan of the persistent search bar and I absolutely love apex because you can I change the dimensions of your grid. And scrollable dock is awesome too. Does Apex Launcher work with this? My ? seems kind of silly because I think you would have included it since aviatorblur uses apex. Anyways I'm still waiting to calibrate battery and get a full charge before I can comment on any battery stats. Other than that I've flashed 3 hours ago and I love it great job ZK

Glad you're enjoying it! The stock launcher was doing the job I needed in order to get this out so I didn't think about it too much I have considered Apex and might bring it in later.

 When I try to clear dalvik cache in Safestrap it tells me /sd-ext not present. Any ideas? Photos on my sd card are also not showing up in gallery. Currently running AOKP Aviator. Thanks.

Does this rom still have video recording capped at 720x480? If so has anyone figured out a workaround for AOKP bases?

It sounds like you might have issues with your external SD card. Have you tried plugging it into your computer and seeing if there are errors? You may need to format it again. Also, have you tried another ROM to see if the problem is only with this ROM? Let me know how you get on

If I go back to safe side, completely stock everything is as it should be. If I plug into my pc as mass storage it brings the contents of my sd right up.

I been using the Aviator F22 edition non AOKP one. how do i get my verizon mobile hotspot icon in my app drawer? I can't seem to figure this out. I dont like having to go into settings all the time to turn on my mobile hotspot when i should just be able to push a icon :S

Yeah... I removed it from the app draw by modifying the androidmanifest.xml within the app. I don't like a busy app draw

 

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to change it. But you can pull the app from a stock base and replace the one that is in system/media. The app is called Hotspotlauncher.apk.

 

Edit: Move it to system/app and set permissions to match the other apks in the folder. (I think it is rw- r- r--, but check first). Then reboot and it should be there.

no, but the build prop has something different in CDMA roms (4.1+) wich doesnt allows to get data and mms with CDMA/CM roms this patch solves this issue and i guess this also solve the jkjambo's problem, its a "weird" problem, if you install umts roms on CDMA device (obviously kexec) it causes a 5-10 mins bootloop, at least this is what i experienced with my phone

I'm going to reformat my sd card and try again. I read that someimes a sd card can disagree with AOKP and CM JB4.2.2 ROMS. I will let you know the outcome. Backing up music and photos as we speak.

Not having this issue, but its like you said, sometimes the sdcard is just not recognized. Reformat in phone or even with PC may help or try another sd card as a test

Reformatted sd card and all is well. If anyone else has an issue. I did not use the built in format utility in the phone or my pc. I downloaded a 3rd party utility to use. Again I picked this info up from another forum.
