AHA the Pink Floyd boot thing is the same thing I think I was having problems with back on .8 I haven't messed with the same sense because it caused me so many problems. But I would like to see it up and running.

I think I may have fixed the problem... Just going through multiple reboots to make sure it doesn't hang :)

haven't been this excited about a rom since i rocked my og droid with peter alfonso's bugless beast, he too preached wipe, wipe, wipe, you take it to another level with delete slot. everything about your rom is first rate, it all just works. had a hickup with 3.0.2 test had to restore 3.0.1 bu for a while, got straight with the release. i would like sunset simple battery, i think ota isn't going to ever work because you have to delete the slot, keeps the crack flashers happy though. this is the first rom i've found i can actually use as a daily.

I was working making a battery icon utility for the sunset theme, but I've ran into a few problems with it so I pulled the link for now. But it will get onto it when I get the time in the next few days :)

I flashed the 3.02 update. I liked the boot audio. Very nice. I also saw the switch to Apollo. Unfortunately I believe that I created a problem for myself by trying to reload my apps/data from TiBa.
I see that it brought back Beats Audio, not to mention several other goodies for which I should have been watching out.

I guess that the easy thing to do is just to wipe the slot with 3.02 and start it over again but be a little more careful with restoring my apps. What do most people do? Simply let Google Play restore the mass amount of downloaded apps and then back track to delete the most recent version when an older version is preferred, such as with Dolphin Browser?

And then there are the email accounts, etc. that needs to be recovered. The overall feel of 3.02 just seemed a bit faster to me than 3.01. Thanks again for this great rom!

What apps are you restoring? If you think you have created a little mess then yes, wipe now while it is still fairly fresh.

In TiBu I restore the apps that I have downloaded. I do not restore data on systems apps, such as text messaging. I'm not sure if it will even allow you to do that or not, but I have heard restoring data on system apps isn't recommended. I could be wrong though, but I just keep away from it :P

FYI - TIBU now backs up your sms/mms As an xml that you can restore without problems. I have even restored it to CM10.1 successfully. You can also restore your call log. The only xml that gave me a problem was the browser bookmarks.

First, LOVE the ROM! I've been using 3.0.0 as my daily driver for some time now. Got the OTA push for 3.0.2 and downloaded. After making a backup in safestrap, I cleared cache and dalvik, then installed 3.0.2. Once up, I found that my Google account looks to have disappeared. When I open up the Play Store or Gmail, the app attempts to open, then immediately dies. I can't seem to re-add my google account as I can't find the setup wizard or see anything within Accounts. Also, it seems that my device was having trouble with rooted apps. Any ideas? I've tried this a few times, second time around un-freezing all apps to rule that out. I'm not totally against clearing out the slot (slot 1) and starting over but I'd rather see if I can get the update working first. Again, love the ROM and thanks for the help!

Some of my crack flashes didn't update the new Google Play Store either - 4.0.25. You may want to search for it online, download it, and install it manually. It should install cleanly directly over your current Play Store. Sometimes uninstalling, then reinstalling an app will cure the force close.

Normally I would suggest deleting the ROM slot and starting again. There shouldn't be any issues through the setup, so it sounds like something didn't flash right. I don't know what causes this, but some people have had no data on the initial boot, and others have it flash flawlessly. Unfortunately I can't really pin point a problem that only occurs to a handful of people. I can only suggest flashing again. Perhaps someone else has a better answer, but that is what I would do. Sorry.

I have had this running for a few days, everything is super smooth but most of my apps are saying I have an ad-blocker enabled. I can't find the settings for it anywhere and its interfering with the browser on my phone when I try to click on a link that redirects. Anyone else have the same problem or know a solution?

Well, something weird happened when I flashed the update. It seemed to install correctly, but I dont have any service. No 4G or phone service. Wifi connects. Am going to attempt to re-install rom again from start. I am redownloading the update zip. Maybe got a bad download.
I deleted rom slot 1 and then re-created it, wiped all & then installed zip.

I am having this exact same issue. I did exactly like you suggested, deleting rom slot 1 and then recreating, wiping and reinstalling and I still can't get it to work. I redownloaded the zip file again and tried it, no go. I do have signal and all that in stock ROM. Any advice?? Thank you.

I baked in ad blocker by manually modifying the host file. If you want to remove it you will need to use File explorer and navigate to system/etc and open "hosts" using the text editor. Delete all the lines under "#start." There are a lot of them so it might be easier to copy the file to your computer and edit it using a text editor like notepad++

Hopefully you read the solution already, but if not, you just need to delete and recreate the slot again. Yes, I know you have tried that already, but you will have to try it again. As I've said before, I'm unsure why this happens and it seems to only happen to a few people. I haven't experienced this issues yet and I do the exact same installation. So it is hard for me to fix an issue is only happening to a handful of people. I am keeping an eye open for a fix though :)

Yeah I have tried it about 4 times now and with two different ROM's. On the second ROM I tried, I can't even get it to start past the set up screen after I select English. It just says it will take a few minutes to start and never does. I am going to try rerunning Matt's Utility today on my phone and rerooting and then try the ROM's again. Thank you.
