Wi-Fi has been rock solid for me. On it all day and no drops.

SO I used the utility to remove the toggles, change the battery, then the calendar. A reboot in between all of those. Only the calendar took. Did I do something wrong?

Did you do the toggles and the battery as one option? To change both the battery and the toggles you need to use option 3, then option 3. That will give you the simple battery and no toggles.

If you used any other combination then it wouldn't give you what you want. The way the utility works is that each of the toggles or battery options switches out your SystemUI.apk with the modded one. The calender is a separate app so that is probably why that stuck.

Let me know if you're still having issues with it :)

Utility didn't change the toggles and battery for me either. I did both individually, and with mass storage and MTP. Also, the ROM is in slot 2. Whoops, looks like the battery took, once unplugged. One could say this ROM is fly!

Do NOT do the changes individually. :P You need to use the option under the Battery Icon menu. You will see it there :)

I just picked up an OTG cable but it does not recognize any flash drive that is attached. Is there any reason that the OTG should not be functional with the rom?

Interesting. I thought that I had read somewhere that people were using them on the XT-912. For a couple of bucks, it seemed like an interesting idea. Oh well. Anyone wanna buy a "not really used" OTG? :) (JK, I'll just hang on to it for now).

I had inquired not too long ago about updating my rom to 3.02 via the OTA. I just rebooted my phone a short time ago and the OTA notification came up again. Is there any reason still not to run it?

I have read about the other roms that are available for the XT-912 .16, but none of them seem to offer what the Aviator has to offer (with respect to my needs). I guess that I started with the best. I am very happy with it.

I am starting to get the message "Unfortunately, the process.com.google.process.gapps has stopped". I never experienced this before. Should that process be reloaded from a backup?

I haven't heard of that one happening before :P Was there anything that happened that might have triggered it?

Also, the update notification will pop up every time you reboot. I would update if you want to, but it normally means a complete wipe of you want to do it right (" no wipes, no gripes" :P ) You can probably freeze the app if you have tibu pro to stop the notification if you don't want to update :)

Did you restore your browser bookmarks? That was what caused it for me. Try clearing data on the browser.

You guys are amazing. So happens that I have been experimenting with Xmarks. I appreciate the theory of being able to have consistency of bookmarks across all PC browsers and my Android devices. My experience with xmarks so far has been less than stellar. Everything coming from the Razr Maxx winds up doubling and tripling. Therefore I have shut it down on the phone and will just use it for PC purposes. I'll eventually try 3.02, but it seems to be great just the way it is for now. It would be nice, however to have audio on the boot and the new aircraft.

If you want the boot sound, you can always pull the bootamination.zip and bootsound.ogg files from 3.0.2 system/media and then paste into system/media on your phone using ES File Explorer :)
