I just noticed WiFi tether wasnt set up so I have fixed that and changed a few small things for the official 3.0.2 update.

Has anyone found any other issues with the ROM itself before I finalize the official 3.0.2 update?

I've been running the pink floyd theme for awhile now and I have noticed that on reboot the boot animation freezes and hangs. If will take a minute or two and then the boot animation starts again and the phone starts up just fine. I'm not exactly sure what is going on yet, but like I say, if you want a minute or two when the boot animation freezes, it will restart and load fine.

I'm looking into the Beats issues now and will put an update out when it is ready. After that I will look into the Pink Floyd boot animation and hopefully make that run smoother

AHA the Pink Floyd boot thing is the same thing I think I was having problems with back on .8 I haven't messed with the same sense because it caused me so many problems. But I would like to see it up and running.


As for beats I'm still on the test build, that you came out with a few days ago and my beats works perfectly fine. I know it works for sure because i have an auxilary cable running in my car and I've got a 12 inch subwoofer. When I turned the bass up to extreme it sounded extremely crappy because it was kind of overloading but on slight and moderate it sounds unbelievable. Compression and the equalizer both work fine as well the virtual surround is kinda hard to tell without headphones. Now this is all on the wired part of beats. Haven't used bluetooth and the speaker part you can rarely tell a difference other than using the equalizer.

Edit* just read the last pages of the threads and realize the changes you did . Sorry wish I could have gotten back to you sooner been busy. But like I said I'm still on 3.01 and beats works great for me right out of play music and from the settings. I feel fine with my setup but always been interested in Apollo so I suppose I will update when it comes out.


edit #2 Does the utility toggle remover, supposed to change the system font? I rebooted toggles were gone, but my widget from UCCW has completely different text.

edit #2 Does the utility toggle remover, supposed to change the system font? I rebooted toggles were gone, but my widget from UCCW has completely different text.

The utility for the toggles only changes the systemUI apk. I don't know why it would affect your widget. Are you able to change the font back?

Well if Comcast would hurry up and fix the outage in my area then it might be soon! But I might upload it while I'm tethered if it's not fixed soon.

One of the reasons I love this rom is all the military aircraft. Being prior Airforce this is right up my alley.

I have tried to install the test build on slot 2, when it installed it had no data 4g or 3g or anything. It only picked up WiFi, but since my phone is my WiFi it could not finish the setup. So went back to slot 1 ROM to find out what I did wrong.

Some people have mentioned no data on boot and they just deleted the slot, created the slot, and installed again. It shouldn't matter what slot you are using.

By the way, I'm about to put the link up to 3.0.2. It might be worth getting it before trying again.

This is the test build with the following changes:
WiFi tether hack added.
Removed Help Center app.
New wallpaper.
New boot animation sound.
Other minor things (reorganization etc).

I will be pushing this via the OTA Updater at some point over the next day or two. So if it pops up, just ignore it for now

The utility will work on this build, but I am uploading another one now with changes to the overclocking instructions.

Yea i changed my font back thru apex theme chooser and it went right back to normal. Im gonna download 3.02 soon aka F22 lol should be.

Hey when im hooked up thru hdmi (mirror or webtop) do you know if beats controls sound from there, if so which tab? I know the volume Changer does not adjust the volume just wondering if beats worked. I tried it and all tabs (wired, speaker,bluetooth) didnt get much response from beats.

I pushed the OTA last night but it looks like my dropbox (OTA needs a direct link) had too much traffic so the OTA might not download. Just download from here if you want or wait a few days for the OTA link to reopen

I don't know, but I don't think you can change the sound coming out through HDMI with Beats.

What we really need is more NAVY aircraft. F35 (if the Navy version ever sees the light of day) maybe. Great ROM BTW. Keep up the good work.

I downloaded the officialvversion of 302 yesterday after trying to get data on the test build. The official build gave me data with no problems. After using this build from almost a day I must say everything that I use works very well. I complement the developer. This is my first use of your rom.

I am a bit confused. The other day I received the notification about the 3.02 update on the phone but i disregarded it based on #1031. This is my first and only flashed rom. Since I am on build 3.0.1, do I need to download 3.0.2 into a different slot and re-install my other apps and data from a backup?

The OTA update was pushed last night, however the download might not work since there was too much traffic through dropbox (I use it for the OTA links). So if you want 3.0.2 you will need to download it from here for now.

Do you need it? If 3.0.1 is working well for you then you can just ignore the notification. However 3.0.2 did fix some of the issues that were in 3.0.1. It does mean a complete wipe and flash though. So it is entirely up to you
