Nice ROM. Is there any way to chance the keyboard back to OEM?

OEM? Are you talking about swype being the default keyboard upon boot after setup instead of the AOSP keyboard? The instructions mention that a reboot will fix that. :)

On another note, I finished building another build from scratch, but I still get the same set up issues (not quite as bad though). It all stems from signature issues since adding the pulldown toggles required resigning of the ROM. I tried to get around this, but I haven't found a way to do this yet.

Since this new build isn't much better that 3.0.0, I am not going to put it up here. I will be keeping an eye out for a way to fix this :)

When you flash the first boot is missing the wallpaper and it has no status bar. A reboot fixes this, but then for some reason the AOSP keyboard isn't selectable until you do another reboot.

If I don't mess with SystemUI's signatures then all is good. But as soon as I make the AndroidManifest changes for the toggles and sign it, it gives me the problems.

Do you have the latest download from the OP (after 3/20/13)? If not, it should still be accessible under the music players equalizer settings.

No problem, sorry for not making it more known. If you know how to, you can download the 3/20 one and pull the settings.apk and put it on your phone. That will fix the settings button. But if you don't mind accessing it through the music app then I wouldn't worry about it. :)

I mean, the stock key board in jelly bean. I do not like the key board. I have no problems at all. A lot of reboots though. If it was said, I will look through more posts.
Thank you.

Do you mean the smaller 4.2 keyboard? The keyboard that is in this ROM is the stock one for our RAZR. I have not changed it since I like the size of this keyboard. I know some ROMs are running it though. I don't think it would be too hard to change. Just look for the latinIME.apk :)

When do you think the next significant update will be? What are you planning on including?

At the moment I'm trying to fix the setup issues and various signature issues people are getting with some Google apps. Not sure when this will be done though.

Are there any mods or things you guys want to see?

Personally, I'd like every Google App that you can download from the market taken out. Seems unnecessary to add anything the user can download on their own and isn't needed/wanted/required by or for everyone (like Google Voice, Maps, Play Music, etc) unless you've themed or changed it in some way to fit your rom's target audience.

I like your rom but am not a fan of the bootup plane animation with the sound; no sound would be a personal preference but I'm sure you or some of the other users here don't feel the same.

Delete the sound file or replace both files to get what you want.

I leave those apps in there for people who want them straight away. People can delete what they don't want anyway :P

The sound is called bootsound.ogg and is located in system/media. Delete that and you wont have the sound :)

I am also working on a new boot animation and wallpaper theme for the next build :)

Wow,

I don't usually read many other peoples posts, and I realized why, some people need to understand that there is not a single ROM that is going to have everything you want. If you want the "Perfect" ROM, I would suggest learning to create one, or learn to modify stock so it is more suitable to you. Most of the devs make ROMS that they themselves are interested in, and then make small mods to possibly incorporate a broader spectrum of people, but I have not seen many devs like Z who will intentionally seek out to change their ROM to better the satisfaction of the users. Those of you who don't like certain aspects of a ROM or themes, or BA, or wall paper....honestly should either customize stock or understand that these are all fixable items easily done by "noobs", and I consider myself a noob when it comes to making and theming ROMS. But, seriously, I applaud ZK, and all of the devs who take their personal time to make these ROMS for us to enjoy.

Thanks for the vote of confidence! :P

I honestly don't mind hearing peoples opinions. I may listen to them, and I may not. As long as everyone is aware of that, then I find no harm in people voicing what they would like to see. But obviously every Dev cannot make everyone happy :P

I do thank

for mentioning what he would like to see; however, as you probably gathered from my other post, this is an opinion that I'm choosing not to go with. It is not a bad suggestion, just not what I want to do at this time :)

I just want to clarify, I do want suggestions on what you want to see, but I may or may not take that on board :) I have been using polls to get a feel for what people want, but I am running out of cool things to do with this ROM. So if you think of anything cool, let me know :)

He literally asked what other people would like to see in future rom updates. I replied with what "I would like to see".

I don't understand the vitriol behind users' opinions when they are challenged by another person. We don't all want the same exact things from life. If someone likes or dislikes something differently than you, there is no reason to become inflammatory in response. After all, if everyone always agreed on one thing, there would stop being progress as change would drop off and new ideas would never be challenged or discovered.

I suggested the removal of any apps that users can download from the play store only because it creates larger installs, puts apps into the system/app directory which regular users don't know how to disable or remove. Sure, anyone on this forum who flashes roms or knows what "root" is should know how to do that, but again, maybe not everyone does. If you can download Google Maps from the Play Store, why not just remove it from the rom as that can cut the .zip size down a little bit and make first time setup go a little faster (in some cases).

If ZKK007 wants his rom delivered in a specific way which includes apps he wants us to have, then that's a completely understandable and acceptable decision; after all, it's his work. But again, he did ask for feedback and suggestions to which I gave mine.
