Hey zk007
Love the rom been running it from the start, any chance when you do updates you could have one with the calendar and other items not inverted with the colors. I know allot of people like the black but i'm just not a fan. If there is way I can do it myself let me know.
Cheers

I agree on not a fan of the dark inverted app's. I stay away from those... Black Window, Rage. Razr has great color why not use it with bright apps and wallpapers.

Runs smooth, but have a couple of problems in settings. Wi-Fi settings are all messed up. You can't get to advanced to turn off "ignore poor connections" and two of my three routers show disabled and you can't forget them. In accounts Google sync text is messed up. Syncs ok, but you can't tell what's syncing. Everything is labeled sync in progress. This was my daily driver on the leak, so waiting for fixes and I'll try it again. Good work on getting something out for us so fast and thanks for all the hard work.

Thanks. I noticed that too but can't explain it yet also "system updates" is missing under about phone. I'll play around tonight and see what I come up with.
Also, I noticed GTalk FCing but it seems to run OK.
How bad was the set up? Did you get a lot of FCs?

No force closes, but setup did not run on 1st boot. Just got a home screen with no radio and no system. Reboot and setup ran. After setup I got the gtalk thing, but mine won't launch - keeps force closing.Thanks. I noticed that too but can't explain it yet also "system updates" is missing under about phone. Updated to the .16 build as I moved on to that Verizon build. Bad on me, I did a "dirty bird flash" - hehe.. Just wiped /system /cache & /dalvik and kept my data. So far one buglet (prolly my fault) , with GoSMS, I am unable to send out any messages and I also presume I am not able to receive any as I haven't yet.
Yeah, I wouldn't recommend doing a dirty flash especially when you are changing from .8 to .16

The reason people use blacked out is because it takes 0 power to display a black pixel, resulting in more battery.

Agreed. I had to experiment though, hehe
Ok, wiped slot, Restarted from scratch with ALL wipes then install. Couldn't access settings on first boot (Force closed) so rebooted.
-Can access settings now but when I press to select (Security/Screenlock) , I get a force close...
-Still going to proceed with TIBU restore of my apps and check out other things.

I Noticed There Is No Way To Chang Keyboard From Swype. Security Foreclosure. other Than That It Runs Smooth As Always.
A reboot should fix that problem.

Thanks, I'll get a fresh gtalk and see if that fixes it.
Is the upgrade as easy as Voodoo protect, un-root, re-root? Do I have to delete all signs of Safe Strap 3.11? I am ready to make the plunge knowing that there are custom ROMs rolling out for .16. Thanks
The upgrade is pretty easy. You will want Matt's 1.90 utility and follow his instructions. You can also read this for more details:

Yeah, I can put that into the utility later on. Not sure when I'll get around to updating the utility though, got to make sure the ROM is good to go first

DO NOT USE THE AVIATOR UTILITY OR THEMES. THEY NEED TO BE UPDATED.
I will be pushing this for OTA update shortly. If you are still on the .8 kernel, do NOT accept the OTA update notification.
Please read the installation instructions and OP again. You may need to reboot straight away if there is no set-up screen. You may then need to reboot after set-up in order for AOSP keyboard to function (swype will be default until you reboot).
Enjoy

You KNOW there are going to be people who update, and THEN read this (or don't read it, and complain that the update doesn't work).
Is there a way to update without triggering the 'update' function, I think you'll be ahead in the long run if there is.

I have thought about that, but since 3.0.0 is the official ROM I put the new OTA information in there. I might wait a little while and not push the OTA until later but that means that anyone who takes 3.0.0 will have ignor the OTA notification

I've updated the OP and officially released 3.0.0 "F111 Edition." This is the test file with corrections made the the settings.apk, GTalk, and others which should fix the issues everyone was reporting with the test build. I have also loaded hotplug and sio in as the default governor and scheduler. I have not installed AOSP Mms.apk in this build, but expect it in a later build. Also, it looks like overclocking will be unavailable until the modules are updated to the latest kernel. I am not sure when this will happen.................
Did the 2nd 3.0.0 as mentioned above and my settings issues are now corrected and am happy to report so far no further problems on my end.

Change log:
Updated for 3.0.0 ROM.
Removed Overclocking scripts. Hopefully we will be able to overclock in the future.
Added Calendar stock/inverted options.
Enjoy!
