The standby battery usage seems to be a bit high.
Last night I fully charged and calibrated the battery, then put the phone on the nightstand with a 98% charge. When I looked at it nine hours later it was showing an 85% charge, so it used 13% in 9 hours, or about 1.44% per hour.
The primary drain was from Android OS, which is exactly what I'd expect given that the phone wasn't 'doing' anything.
I did this same test on another ROM and it was less than 1/2% per hour, which is exceptional in my book.
My personal (rather arbitrary) acceptable usage parameter is around 1% per hour on standby. To ME, 1% is 'average', anything below is 'good' and anything above is 'bad' (there are some shades of grey in there of course).

I updated to 2.0.0 and my messaging app is not working...it says it stopped working when i try to open it

Did you have any other issues when flashing? If it is FC'ing and won't even open then perhaps you had a bad flash?

That is high battery drain. I've been experiencing about 6-7% loss over night but will check again tonight since last night I had to charge. Keep me informed about your battery drain today. Perhaps it is getting worse once the ROM settles instead of better, I'm which case I'll need to do some searching.

Its ok now my mms app works...i reflashed the whole thing. I think the old flashes were bugging up the 2.0 rom. But the rom is very cool and smooth Iike it!

Ever since I start using my camera more often, I started experiencing a problem. For the past week, my phone was frozen at least 3 times right after I took a picture with default camera app. Then, with camera zoom fx, it worked well taking picture, but reboot randomly when I tried opening up a picture via the app.... Anyone experiencing similar issue?

unable to get Backup Assistant to work..

I removed Backup Assistant's working but forgot one app which is why it showed up, but it wasn't working. I am taking it out of this ROM.

I flashed this ROM last night and must say it is by far the best I've used. Perfect combination of options. However I am experiencing the same battery drain issues. Lost about 15% over night with nothing happening and am losing it at about the same percentage rate as previously stated.... Want to keep this as daily driver but battery is killing me

Ok, I'm monitoring this. I just made a new build today which is closer to 1.0.8 in tweaks. 2.0.0 didn't have as many tweaks in it as I was just watching for issues and wanted to limit the possibility of issues.

I am uploading it now and looking for testers.

I have only been running this build for a few hours so I can't say if it will have better or worse battery, but like I said, I'm bringing back some scripts into the ROM so there should be improvements.

The next update will be "F18 Edition." I will post it up here in a post (not in the OP) for anyone who wants to test and provide feedback. THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL UPDATE, so it will still say 2.0.0 is some areas, such as OTA Update, etc.

It should be done uploading in 15 minutes :)

Oh, it's still here but I took the images out. If you hold the bottom you will notice the blue bar flicker. There are 10 images there which you can make into a little animation. I left the code in there just in case themers want to put in a little animation for a theme. :P

THIS IS NOT THE OFFICIAL 2.0.1 UPDATE. I have added more tweaks that I had before on the v1.x.x editions. Hopefully this will help battery life which hasn't been as good as it has been in the past.

Anyone is welcome to test, but please don't ask for help if something isn't working. By all means feedback is more than welcome, but this is a test build :) In fact, I am very interested in battery life feedback.

Enjoy all of you crackflashers! :)

Just an FYI: There's a viable rumor that a release is potentially imminent.

Battery life is an issue for me on 2.0.0 mainly with difficulty getting much deep sleep ... runs most of time at 300mhz. But now debating if I want to take the JB invite in case Moto has some tricks up their sleeve affecting root.....

Woah! How did you get the invite?! Roger, it sounds like the JB might be out sooner than expected so I might wait and see what happens! :D

Just so I don't get myself in trouble, let's say its a hypothetical situation as I know understand no mention should be made of this totally hypothetical and alleged event.

So, I'm not sure if this means you want the not-really-2.01 tested or not. Do still want us to give it a whirl, or are you going to see if there is an official release imminent, and if so you'll start working with that one?

Has the GSM patch worked for you in the past? If so, please use this on for the 2.0.1 test:
