Rick same thing happened to me and it turned out to be a bad utility download. Re-downloaded it and it worked fine.

Yes, there was a little bit of charging when I was testing the utility, and I know I have been on wifi all day, but 20 hours with 57 percent battery remaining on the OG razr :)

No frills CPU is fine to use. If you want to over clock it, then you will need it to set the frequencies.

I just removed CPU Sleeper as it was redundant and an init.d script took its place :)

I have to share this because I am even impressed with the battery performance myself.

1 day 14hours with the OG Razr with 19% remaining. I know there was a little bit of charging while I briefly tested the utility, but I also did a fair amount of benchmarking which I feel would offset this :P Over 2 hours of screen time, 36 hours wifi, 2 hours 3G/4G.

This is stock with no smart actions. If I was going for endurance I would definitely use smart actions and no benchmarking :)

i'd agree on the battery life. As a fairly light user, 3G only area, and strong VZW signal (-59dBm to -65dBm), my typical Razr Maxx battery life GB/ICS/JB has been around 52h with 2h to 3h screen time with screen brightness normally set to 40%. So I have a good feel for what battery life I'll get under my normal usage patterns with the same app set-up, brightness, etc.

Recently I loaded Aviator 1.08 for a look-see. After getting settled in then back to my typical usage pattern with the same set-up as before, it looks like your tweaks make a definite difference. Hotplug normally chews up my battery, so I'd tended to go with pegasusq. But I'm guessing the Moduletweaks for hotplug did the trick. Right now my Razr Maxx at 24h 5m since charge, 2h 25m screen time, about 60% of time on wifi, my battery is at 75%. BatteryLeft is projecting 83h total battery life, whereas it'd usually be showing around 52h. Like they say, YMMV, but for me, battery life has taken a SIGNIFICANT jump upward.

GOOD JOB!

You shouldn't need to download the wallpaper, but if you want it:
  • Put it on you SD card,
  • Go to the gallery,
  • Located the wallpaper,
  • press menu key, "set picture as," then "wallpaper".
  • Enjoy :)

You should be able to stretch the crop (blue square) as much as it can and it will fit the screen. The Wallpaper file is 1080x960 so it should crop nicely :)

Battery life is insane on with this Rom, and the sunset theme is awesome!!!

Those two things in their self are enough to make me never want to change roms again.

But I have one question. I am overclocked to 1325 mhz, Is it normal for No Frills when doing the 5 second status update it shows my processor is running at 1200 mhz 99% of the time. I don't think there is any way this could be possible because I have great batt life and my phone is staying at normal temps. I downloaded Rom toolbox just to see if it would show different but it shows the exact same thing. But when I watch the processor speed in Rom toolbox it never goes above what I limit it at. So is something reporting wrong, am I the only one this has happened too or have others seen this?

Let me start by saying I do not OC myself so I have not seen this. I have tested the scripts I put out, but it wasn't for more than a few hours to just make sure they will stick and have no big problems.

Have you OC in the past? The OC script is in system/etc/init.d/Modules. Perhaps you can look there and see what the values are set at and then go to proc/cpu_control/opp_table_current to confirm the values have been loaded correctly. Also, does the phone perform as its at 1325mhz? (Benchmark?)

I'm sorry I can't be of much help, and perhaps someone who knows more can step in, but I just want to ensure the scripts are working OK and are not creating any problems.

I've added a poll asking:
Would you like to see a quick reply feature for text messages? (ASOP MMS.apk)

Have your say and whatever receives the most votes will be in the next update :)

Updated from 1.0.7 to 1.0.8 the other night, and the battery has been excessively draining ever since update. I have not made any changes since upgrade. Should I just try to reflash?

Both of the files are showing the correct overclock values and when I run a benchmark with Max CPU set to 1125 mhz I got a CPU score of 5132 then when I set the Max CPU value to 1325 mhz I got a CPU score of 6139, I'm using quadrant to benchmark. So I believe that it is performing correctly. This is the first time I have OC.

Thanks for your help.

Have you charged the phone to 100% and performed a battery calibration? If so, then you may need to reflash. Remember to delete the ROM slot and re create it for the best results.

If it seems to be working ok, and you are getting good performance with battery and temps, then I would just keep an eye on it. I cannot explain why it would be showing 1200mhz for 99% of the time. But by hearing all you information, I can only put it down to a software bug somewhere.

Let me know if any problems do arise :)
